Installé sur une colline au cœur de Lisbonne, le Torel Palace Lisbon est composé de trois bâtiments, dont deux demeures de caractère traditionnelles du XIXe siècle, entourés d’un jardin avec une piscine. Depuis ses suites, terrasses, piscines et jardins, vous pourrez profiter d’une magnifique vue panoramique sur le centre-ville, le Tage et le château Saint-Georges. Décorées avec goût de façon personnalisée, les 33 chambres sont climatisées et dotées d’une salle de bains privative. Chaque logement comprend un minibar, un plateau/bouilloire et un coffre-fort. Le Torel Palace Lisbon propose une villa et 5 appartements totalement neufs. Partie intégrante de l’hôtel, l’élégant restaurant 2Monkeys du chef Vitor Matos propose une cuisine raffinée récompensée d’une étoile au guide Michelin en 2024. Wonderful
The staff Pedro, Lola, Dwelington, Igor, Nicolas, CeCe and all the rest are A+. The staff in the spa and in Black are also exceptional. The feeling is very one of a kind and boutique. I felt very much taken back in time with modern amenities .

Good
The Pool, the Spa treatments and even the room were perfect, with beautiful views over Lisbon. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, during our short stay.
The view is polluted with cranes for the construction projects in the blocks below. The upstairs room was very noisy, either people were very noisy getting ready to check out at 6 am, or later some maintenance was going on, it disturbed our sleep that night. The room's noise insulation could definitely improve

Staff were friendly and anticipated your every need. The hotel and grounds were stunning. Great views of Lisbon. Good location, 15 walk to the center of town. It was small and felt really luxurious. You could always easily get a bed by the pool. The terrace is beautiful for dining day and night.
Toilet in the bedroom did not have a door so no privacy between a couple. The breakfast was a let down. Hot food was stale and not very warm. Cooked eggs were available but only average. Toaster broke on our first day, and was never replaced.

Disappointing
Charming palace, great views. Friendly staff.
I had room 3 in the pink palace. It faced the cabanas which were brightly lit at night but there were no blinds or shutters on the windows and the drapes were not blackout curtains so the room is lit up like a Hollywood set. See pic at 1pm below. No handsoap in bathroom. Door latch broken.

The views, the size of the room. The attentive staff at the bar and breakfast/restaurant.
Since it is an old building, the is no sound proofing between rooms and the wood floors make it extra noisy.

Good
The hotel and restaurant was wonderful.
I had booked a specific room in the hotel itself, which I chose because of its old world charm with access to cosy seating areas of the actual hotel. Instead we ended up in a modern two bedroom apartment just outside the actual hotel entrance. I was told it was an upgrade and it was nice, but I was disappointed as not the experience I had planned.
