The location. It is located up on the hill and the garden right in front of the hotel is where you can see the best view of Lisbon. Walking down hill, you can reach everywhere you want to. The staff was excellent and attentive. Communication with Whatsapp was efficient. The room top dinner is a must especially if you are a hotel guest.
We got upgraded (we like it, don't get it wrong) to the mezzanine. It is located on the ground floor with no view but natural translucent windows. It can be an issue for somebody (but not for us. We appreciate the spaciousness.)

Wonderful
The room was spacious and quiet with generous daily water, and welcome wine & beer included. Service was incredibly thoughtful and left a little gift each day, including a lens cleaner for my glasses and luxury soap from a local brand. The complimentary breakfast served on the roof was outstanding with a beautiful view of the city. Overall this felt like a relaxing home away from home and the location was very convent to walk Barrio Alto, Chiado, Principe Real, and Alfama.
The only downside is that the mattress was quite firm. I was so tired from walking I still slept very well!

From the moment we stepped into the hotel we had a tranquil and relaxing feeling. Our room was amazing with lots of space and closets, big windows and high ceilings. There’s all kinds of amenities and well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes and glasses. Very upscale quality branded appliances. We love the staff at the front desk. They are extremely conscientious and considerate to assist us with all our requests. They go out of their way to ensure we have an enjoyable stay. The roof top restaurant is fantastic with overlooking city and river views from afar. They offer a wonderful breakfast experience as well as brunch and dinner. There is a gym and spa right at the hotel as well. The location in Bario Alto is perfect location to walk to view points and lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very good place to stay in Lisbon. We will definitely stay there again when we return.
Nothing.

Location, location, location was probably one of the best in Lisboa. The room was top notch and comfortable. Room had full kitchen very comfortable king bed with couch & table with chairs. Bathroom was small but still nice. Room came with robes and slippers for the spa. We even had a tiny balcony . Staff were very top notch friendly and helpful. Spa was sweet and we had massages which were good. Elevators work very well. Rooftop restaurant has great food and views of Lisboa. One thing we really loved was the doors ( very thick secure doors ). They have their own car service to pick up and take you places ( not sure any where but definitely to airport ) . We absolutely loved this hotel and are definitely bringing our kids back to visit Lisboa.
Not a dislike but info people need. You have to ask the front desk to unlock the HDMI port to watch your own movies on the tv. The walls are kinda thin so can hear your neighbors and we had very loud rude neighbors. They constantly slammed there door too.

Friendly staff, spacious room, room deco, and breakfast
The glass shower door doesn't keep the water in. Need a number of bath towels to block the flow, otherwise the water will spill out onto the floor.

This was hands-down the best hotel of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with attentive, five-star service. The location in Bairro Alto is unbeatable—close to everything yet peaceful—and the boutique design of the hotel is both stylish and comfortable. We loved the rooftop bar with its incredible city views, and having secure on-site parking was very convenient.
Honestly, there’s very little to critique here. Everything from the service to the facilities to the room design was spot-on. It’s rare to find a hotel that delivers on every front, but The Lumiares really does.

Wonderful
We felt like royalty the entire time - great room, fantastic location close to all the best restaurants and shopping, attentive staff and unlimited breakfast buffet. Our kids loved the two bedroom suite, their backpacks and water bottles, and we particularly loved the soundproofing.
You can’t get a Bolt or Uber in the area because it’s a no-drop zone.
