Ricardo provided a friendly, efficient, and welcoming check-in. Dubal was (as always) a superior host.
I was given a room opposite the maids supply room which, in the morning after an international flight proved to be uncomfortably noisy.and I wasn't able to get that little extra time to sleep in a bit.

The hotel is in easy walking distance to the airport, ideal for early morning or late night flights. Breakfast is served from early morning hours.

Pretty much everything. The woman that greeted us at the reception desk was terrific. She was efficient, professional and friendly. She recognized that we had been guests before and that we made a request for a room on one of the upper floors and gave us a very nice room with more space on the top floor. Everything in the room, including the air conditioning, shower and television worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was very nice, and the tea in the lobby is a nice way to end the day. The walk to the airport was uphill but short and provided a little nice exercise. We preferred the walk to the free shuttle that was provided.
We pretty much enjoyed everything about our stay on this particular date.

We have stayed at the Star inn several times over the past two years and have almost always enjoyed our stays, not only for its convenience to the airport, but the service and rooms are most often very nice.
This particular time was a disappointment. The gentleman at the check-in seemed to be new and lacked knowledge of the hotel and his job. The bedroom was tiny, very hot and humid because the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working properly. When we opened the window for some cooler air, it was very humid and noisy. We didn’t sleep well.

The location is unbeatable. The staff were polite and very helpful. I had my breakfast before 6 am and it had an excellent selection, thoughtfully organized and plenty. The bathroom, the bed and bed sheets were super clean. The only slight issue I had was the floor cleanliness but a pair of socks took care of it.
The floor is grey vinyl, hiding the dust well and I found that my socks collected a more than fair amount of it.

Location, cleanliness
Dinner restaurant staff ignored us so we had to ask them to bring us some water. We felt invisible. This was the only disappointing part of our two stays at this property in March 2026.
