The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, especially François. The room was very large and super clean. Fresh fruit and water included was a welcoming touch.
Awkward bathroom that made it very difficult to shower without flooding the floor and very steep stairs.

Breakfast was delicious. Lots of options, ranging from sweet to savoury. Plenty of drinks provided including juices, teas and coffees.
Staff were utterly fantastic, cannot speak highly enough of how accommodating and kind they were throughout the stay.
The location was within walking distance of plenty of tourist attractions as well as the vibrant city centre and promenade walk.
The penthouse suite provided breathtaking views of the city, sitting out in the terrace was something to behold!
Very little! We had an exceptional time.
If I was to nitpick I would say that the bathroom door in the room didn’t allow for much privacy but outside of that the entire stay was fantastic.

Outstanding view of Lisbon from the hillside in spacious room 6. The staff was friendly and fantastic. Great spot to walk around the old city. Public transportation was also less than 10 minutes away. Wonderful to have daily housekeeping, who replenished the room with fruit and port.

This was our second stay here. The location is perfect, great breakfast, beautiful views. But most of all the staff is exceptional - they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable!

Both the breakfast and the location were great. There was a great variety to choose from and the center was reachable in less than 10 minutes (walking pace). There were also elevators close for those that don't like the hills.
The area was hit by heavy rain and many properties, including the one we stayed at were leaking at some spots. This is a general problem in Portugal/Lisbon.

The staff is fantastic -- helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved breakfast on the terrace, and the room was clean, comfortable, modern and quiet (the air conditioning was also quiet and worked well). It's located on a quiet little street up near St. George's castle; it was fun to be in the older part of the city.

Disappointing
The views from the upper, bigger rooms are absolutley mindblowing. The personnel are very serviceminded and friendly.
Unfourtnately the cleaning in the hotel did not meet our standards. The rooms were strangley furnished with a strange selection of secondhand furniture and the bed was small. The bathrooms were quite recently renovated but there were some really strange solutions in them. The breakfast was poor.

Rio and Francois and the entire staff were amazing. Would not let us lift a finger to do anything! Cannot praise them enough. Would recommend booking airport transportation with Rio as well. We booked with a different company and was not dropped off right at the hotel. Had Rio book return trip and was picked up right at hotel entrance. Was an amazing stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!
