In an inner courtyard of an 18th-century mansion, this eco-hotel is located within the walls of St. Jorge's Castle. It features rooms with free Wi-Fi in the historic Alfama neighborhood. wonderful location, although not ideal for anyone with mobility limitations. Very laid back, relaxed approach, but also smoothly run. Very clean and comfortable rooms and seating areas.
hadn't booked breakfast, as we'd decided to take a look at it first...On our first morning, we took a look at the buffet breakfast at abour 9.30 am, fruit all looked a little tired and there were no eggs left, so we decided we'd get better value elsewhere.

Wow! What an amazing hotel. Room was gorgeous and the port was topped up every day. The courtyard was wonderful and helped by the sparkling Portuguese wine that was put out with snacks after 6pm each evening. We really didn't need to venture out at all! Fantastic!

Idealy located, just next to the Castel, the place is quiet Nd very pretty. Don’t be discouraged by the loid Peacocks,
Accessibility can be a challenge for taxis and if you are not good on foot. No food except breakfat.

Located directly below the castle, the hotel is full of antiquity but also has excellent modern facilities and comfortable beds. The design of the hotel is very tasteful, both the rooms and the courtyard are full of traditional charm.

Very beautiful throughout. The public areas were comfortable and spacious. The garden was lovely, and the peacocks were wonderful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of foods offered. Also the extended time was very convenient. Refreshments throughout the day, coffee tea and little snacks were a welcome addition. The staff was extremely helpful arranging taxis and providing information about the local area.
The location was a bit out of the central area but we managed to figure out to navigate with buses, metro, trams and walking.
