So much history in the castle area- even a museum in the basement. Refreshments and cake available all day Beautiful square to chill in

We loved the location of the property. We wanted something somewhat out of the way but close enough to walk to everything we wanted to see. It was a lovely, special place. The breakfast was incredible and the sparkling wine in the evening was very fun - we met a lot of the other guests that way.
The room we stayed in was very small and dark. Im sure there were nicer rooms and I would ask for a different room next time.

Staff were helpful. Very cool location next to the castle.
The room we had had a window on the street and it was loud every night. Restaurant noise. Trask barrels being dragged down the street after midnight. And then the castle maintenance crew too! SOOOO loud!

The breakfast spread was excellent with healthful, savory and sweet options. The courtyard is lovely, the peacocks from the castle are a lovely addition, and the mini museum downstairs was very interesting! Great location as well, nestled up against the castle and close to shops and restaurants.
