This is a lovely and well-kept small hotel in Alfama. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was small but more than adequate and the bed large and comfortable. There is a small bar and restaurant.

The hotel was very centrally located and near a lot of bars and restaurants. It was easily accessible by multiple methods of transport but was in a part of town which does not allow vehicles. We loved this as it made the area feel very traditional and authentic and we were never having to look out for traffic.
The only critique, which is very minor, is that both room service and laundry are outsourced which meant that using them was more complicated. This only affected us on one evening and we were only very mildly inconvenienced by it.
