1. Reception & breakfast room staff are excellent. Very service oriented and helpful.
2. Breakfast was sumptuous.
3. Hotel upkeep is great.
4. The pickup from the airport was great!
5. The recommendation of Amadeus Tours was great. The driver Alex was excellent and worth every penny we spent to visit Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascias.
6. Though we didn’t eat at the restaurant across from the hotel, it was filled both nights for dinner which makes us think it is a great place to dine.
Overall an excellent 2 night stay at the hotel.
1. Rooms are considerably small. The wall between the bedroom and the entrance make it feel smaller.
2. Whoever cleans the room doesn’t clean it well.
3. Location without PIN preventing Ubers coming to the entrance would have been better.

This was an unbelievable hotel! Recommended more for couples or individuals - but we had to leave our rental due to it being disgusting and we stumbled upon this hotel! Pedro helped us with our 4 children late that night and we were so grateful!!!! The next morning the concierge was so nice and she made an art packet for our toddler and recommended her sister hotel for the pool for the kids but we were leaving to fly home.
The rooms were airy, the showers were clean and the bathrobes were dreamy! Great breakfast included!

Clean spacious room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is situated in a great part of Lisbon to explore the old part of the city.

Breakfast was exceptional. Main dish for your choice + all regular stuff.
All stuff people were super nice.
The location can be a plus or a minus. It's in a cool different vibe of neighborhood, but getting there involves a bunch of stairs.
I didn't like the bathroom. It was open to the rest of the room, which isn't really nice if you are staying with a friend. I did look at the pictures before and didn't see it. Should be written in my opinion.

We had greatly enjoyed a previous stay at this hotel and were keen to repeat the experience on a second visit to Lisbon. Although branding had changed everything else was as we remembered - room and breakfast were superb, location perfect, staff charming. Kitchen was no longer open for dinner but that was no loss as our meal there on previous stay had been disappointing and there is a lovely local restaurant immediately adjacent to the hotel (and several others within 100 metres).
The price we paid this time was simply ludicrous, verging on extortionate. This was apparently on the pretext of a European football event taking place that week in Lisbon, in which we had no interest. We would never stay again at that price. Even the regular (no football!) price is pretty steep considering the very limited facilities offered by what is a very small hotel..

Fantastic hotel, tucked out of the way in the heart of the Alfama district of Lisbon. Incredibly warm, friendly reception and brilliant staff who routinely went out of their way to make sure guests were OK - and all with excellent first-hand knowledge of the city. In particular, their restaurant recommendations are brilliant! Breakfast is also superb - the cooked options especially!
In short, nothing! The only downside of this hotel is that there isn't really any 'outdoor' space - no bar, no terrace, etc., and the rooms themselves don't have balconies. This didn't bother me at all (I knew before I arrived), and I was more than happy to explore the bars around Alfama. But might be a useful heads-up for somebody!

The hotel is situated in an interesting area. The staff are very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. There are lots of lovely touches. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and the service at breakfast is also friendly and warm. We wouldn't hesitate to return if we are in Lisbon again.
We enjoyed all aspects of our stay.
