The staff at this hotel are amazing and go out of their way to support anything you need and make you feel at home. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed and have all the delicious luxuries: bathrobes, fancy ample toiletries, a lovely writing desk nook.

The staff was amazing. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. A special thank you to Joana at reception that went above and beyond with suggestions, directions etc. Rita from the breakfast room is such a special caring person with beautiful personality and beautiful presentation of the food. The food was delicious! She went out of her way to make our stay over the Christmas holiday feel at home and extra special. Special thanks to Daniel that greeted us the night we arrived and to Flavio for assisting us with the purchase of or train tickets. Thank you to the entire staff. Staff were extremely helpful and room was clean and very cozy. I would recommend and definitely stay here again. We travel to Portugal often to visit family.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, good-sized room. Comfortable bed. Great location with easy access to many shops, restaurants and the metro. In the heart of beautiful and old area of Alfama. -
Could have had more amenities in the room. I asked for an electric kettle which was promptly supplied. Much appreciated. But rooms could have a kettle and tea next to the coffee amenities and water.
