Great location. Beautiful, historic building. Rooms have real character with antique furnishings and thoughtful decor combined with immaculate modern facilities. Staff were unfailingly friendly and obliging. Cocktail bar is outstanding and the shaded patio restaurant (on a quiet, access-controlled street) is a great place to kill a bottle of rosé on a sunny day.

Good location for Alfama, comfortable beds, wonderful staff, great breakfast of wonderful options. Big bathrooms. Very clean. A block from a beautiful mirador and places to hang out and have drinks.
Old town can be crowded with tourists and our room had no view. Awkward layout but still comfortable. Hard sometimes for taxis to get to us for transfers.

The staff were really friendly and passionate about the hotel. The view was amazing and the rooms were so clean.

Staff was universally friendly and helpful, every interaction. Especially Rita at the front desk, and the waiters and MD at breakfast, and the waiter who served us wine in the cafe at 8pm Saturday.
One glass in the room was not perfectly clean.
