Location for me was excellent and reception helpful.
I was surprised to learn that coffee capsules are generally not replenished (I actually got two extra ones) and when asking for a glass of milk in the bar for the coffee in the room, I was charged EUR 3.

All went well, except would prefer à la carte menu for supper in the restaurant over buffet.
Your shower facility in the bath tub is so uncomfortable. One feels like one is falling….shape of bottom in tub does not allow for comfort. Also a rubber mat should be supplied.

The bedroom was spacious, beds comfortable and breakfast excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel accommodated our request on arrival and departure to leave our cases in their luggage room until and after check-in and out times.
We understood that the Sana hotel’s clientele is mainly commercial however as independent travelers we thought that the staff could have been a little more helpful and proactive in explaining to access to public transport links and directions to the location of nearest metro station.

I recently stayed at the Sana Metropolitan Lisboa and had an outstanding experience.
The level of service was exceptional — something I haven’t encountered in quite some time. The team, especially Carolina Gomes, demonstrated remarkable availability, promptness, and genuine care throughout my stay.
What truly stood out was their attention to detail: even when the EV charging spot was occupied by a car that wasn’t even charging (despite plenty of available parking spaces), the team proactively offered to move my car during the night so it could charge. That level of thoughtfulness and commitment is rare.
Their care and follow-up made a real difference and elevated the entire experience.
A genuinely positive review, and very well deserved. I highly recommend this hotel.
