the people and the service, exceptional. the staff is super nice and very helpful. the room is big, the bed comfortable, the port and pastries welcome- very nice and much appreciated, the mirror/tv combo- intriguing. The breakfast is great and the location excellent- we walked all the way to old Lisbon and got a taxi back. It looks like a long walk- but this is comfortable and lovely walk. If I ever return to Lisbon, I will return to EPIC SANA.

EPIC SANA Marquês truly exceeded my expectations. My sister and I stayed here after spending time in the Algarve so we could explore Lisbon, and the location was absolutely perfect. The hotel is modern, chic, and beautifully designed. Our room was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and spotless. What stood out the most was the exceptional staff, they were warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had while traveling, with an amazing variety of fresh, high-quality options. We also loved the live music in the lobby each evening, which created such a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere. This hotel truly made our Lisbon experience unforgettable.
Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

The aesthetics of the hotel
The checking in process. The hotel was very busy and I don’t think the kept tracked of the people who were waiting for rooms. I had to constantly come to the desk as people who traveled to the same event and came after me had gotten rooms right away.

This property is, without a doubt, a 5 star accommodation experience. Everything was well thought out with the guest in mind. Impeccable with the finest touches in our deluxe suite. ELECTRIC CURTAINS IN THE ROOM ARE HORRIBLE. Curtain and Light Switches that are not labeled and had me pushing buttons for 30 minutes to try and close them.
Paid for breakfast for my sons, however ridiculous wait times at the airport had them checking out 3.5 hours before their fight and missing breakfast, the hotel would not reimburse the funds.

The location is good, not the most central but still walkable

Very slow valet service (even though parking is not free), we had to leave our car on the sidewalk and watch it for 30 minutes (cause it was blocking the pedestrian path but there was nowhere else to park) before it was parked
SPA is very small for such a huge hotel and not well maintained (the steam room had a leaking water faucet and the tables were dirty, the pool was not very clean either)

An absolute gem in Lisbon. This hotel was a wonderful surprise for my sister’s birthday, and it made the celebration truly special. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay perfect.
The spa is outstanding ,a true moment of relaxation and luxury, with a calm and beautifully refined atmosphere.
What touched us the most is that the team prepared a lovely surprise for my sister’s 40th birthday, which made the celebration even more memorable for both of us.
And the breakfast was truly top tier — high-quality products, generous choices, and a perfect way to start the day.
Overall, the hotel delivers a true luxury experience, elegant yet warm and personal. Between the exceptional service, the facilities, and the thoughtful touches, our stay was unforgettable.
A place I would recommend without hesitation. Pure happiness. ✨
