It was beautiful, the staff were nice. I didn’t get to try any drinks at the bar but the food was amazing, overall I enjoyed my stay.
The layout, I mean the entrance is a bit unusual to me but you get used to it.

I’m not sure if there is a perfect location in a city like Lisbon however this hotel seemed like an acceptable distance from everything I wanted to see. I arrived mid black out in Portugal. The whole country was without power but I felt the staff handled things in the best possible manner. These tripe were exceptional circumstances.
Gym wasn’t well equipped, rooms felt a little tight and lack any privacyfor the bathroom facilities.

We stayed here during the power cuts and were treated terribly by staff, particularly management. We had no running water or electricity, All local shops were closed so there was no way to buy essentials like food or water. The hotel did not provide any free drinking water during this time of emergency even to guests with children. The only options of food they had were inedible. We accepted what they offered out of desperation as we had no other food to eat for over 10 hours. However when the food was brought out we realised we could not eat it, despite this we were still charged €40!! We complained about this to management but they were not helpful at all. I am disgusted how they treated their guests during a nationwide emergency! We will not be returning.

Stayed during the big power blackout and staff were so incredibly helpful despite the terrible and stressful situation we were in. Really nice rooms and facilities - will be back on a day when there is electricity to experience in full.

We were unfortunately staying at this hotel when Portugal was hit with a national power cut. We were left without power or electricity which also affected the running water, we had no shower facilities and no flushing toilets. There was no food or water available outside of the hotel as all businesses were shut. We felt the hotel would help us out as surely they have a duty of care to customers. Instead, after hours of being left with no communication from the staff, they offered meats and cheeses and stale bread at the restaurant, all of which had been out of any refrigerator for many hours. My friend could not eat the meats or cheeses as she is pregnant and was left eating a peice of stale bread. We had no alternative as we had been without food or water for many hours. They did nothing to help our situation. We understood this was an emergency situation however we felt they could have done a lot more to provide help to their guests who had no other way of getting food or water. They then had the AUDACITY to charge us for the meats and cheeses on check out!! I civilly explained to the front desk on check out that I did not think this was fair, surely they would be claiming back from their insurance to cover their losses in stock, a manager then came out ( a lady with badly bleached hair) who told us rather argumentatively that we had to pay as we had accepted the meats and cheeses. I told her that her hotel had failed to provide us with basic amenities in what was an emergency situation, the toilets were overflowing and we had no light to get around the hotel!! The lifts were obviously not working we were on the 6th floor and the stairwells had no light. The manager had no compassion and shrugged her shoulders saying ‘it’s not our fault’! Overall I cannot believe how poorly the staff cared for their guests during what was a very frightening experience for everyone. I will never be staying here again and will never recommend it to anybody.

The decor and ambience of the hotel are nice - and that is all that is nice about the place.
There is absolutely NO INTIMACY in the rooms - the small shower cabin and a small WC go directly onto a room, so you are drying yourself outside in the room!! Also the little basin to wash hands, face and teeth is inside the room, right next to the beds, there is no place to hang wet towels - it was very uncomfortable for me and my teenage niece to be in such lacking any intimacy space. The pictures on booking.com do not show this very bad room arrangement.
