We had a wonderful stay at Evolution Valbom. The hotel is modern, stylish, and impeccably clean, with very comfortable rooms and great soundproofing. The staff were genuinely friendly and always happy to help, which made the experience feel warm and effortless. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the location is perfect for exploring Lisbon while still being in a quieter, more relaxed area. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
The only small improvement would be better lighting around the mirror for doing makeup.

the place felt homy and the area is very quiet compared to the other touristy areas. everything was clean and comfortable and even if i decided to spend my whole day at the hotel i would be enjoying my time with all the faculties and the services provided at the hotel.

Nice Hotel very clean and modern
Got hit with pet fees and parking fees was not expecting. This basically doubled the price of the room. When we got there, we were told that our dog was too large and we should have checked the contract. But it was buried wayyyyy down. All we saw was pets welcomed for a "possible fee". And nothing about size restrictions. Well, it's a mandatory fee of 30 euros a night and thankfully the manager approved. And then we were hit with another 40 euros a night parking fee which was also not mentioned on web site. Only "parking is available for a fee". So our 100 euro a night room suddenly became a 170 euro a night room and it just was not worth it. All that said, amazing property and very nice, but some of the staff were just grumpy folks, while the bellman was amazing. So over all just sorta feel scammed. 40 bucks a night parking is nuts for a hotel. And yea we have a pet, but if pet does no damage and there is no clean up, then why 30 euro a night? My biggest problem, is that all these details were way down in in the very fine print. And yea, I guess thats my responsibility to read, but they should be much more up front and honest about actual charges and not say things like "additional fee" and "may be applied" and just be honest. Location was AMAZING. Coffee was 4e which is on high side, but I guess thats just Lisbon life.

Breakfast options were delicious. Very impressed with the bar service. Adrian provided us with excellent cocktails and places to visit around Lisbon.

The front desk staff, who were very friendly and accommodating, made for a pleasant check-in experience. However, the overall stay was marred by the disappointingly poor housekeeping service.
Despite being out of my room for three consecutive days, I often returned to find my room untouched. Even when I left the door notice card clearly requesting cleaning, it was frustrating to discover that the housekeeping staff, who seemed to lack motivation and attention to detail, didn’t clean my room until after 3:00 PM. This lack of diligence was quite surprising and disappointing.

Down a quiet side street. Seemed brand new.
Pool and roof top patio were closed at 8:00. It was the reason we booked hotel, and weren’t able to use. The bathroom was a glass room inside the room. No privacy. Couldn’t use restaurant as there was a very loud private function going on when we arrived.

Wonderful
Clean, fresh and stylish! Located on a quiet block with lots of great restaurants and very easy access to the bus and train.
Loved the rooftop! Cool dipping pool and tasty light snack menu and bar. Friendly staff. Cesar was great. Compact gym with everything you need for a good work out.
Loved that is a green certified hotel!
I was first given a room that had a terrible view ( on the back of the building) I asked to be switched to the front and was accommodated . My room was near the elevator so I could hear it ring each time it was in use.

The location in Lisbon is peaceful, beautiful and convenient. Many restaurants in the area. Rooms looking out on the street have a lovely view. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast has a lot of variety including fresh fruit, cheeses, pastries and meats.
The building was renovated not long ago at what must have been great expense. Having stayed there a number of times over the years before this renovation I can say with confidence that the rooms seem overpriced for what is offered. Some of the changes are a indeed an upgrade, including the breakfast area and lobby, as well as a little pool on the rooftop. In the original building the rooms had a lovely soaking tub and spacious closet which have now been removed in exchange for a few hangers on a tiny rack and awkward glass cubicles that lack privacy, housing a toilet and shower. The lighting is so complicated to operate that it seems like a satire, and the rooms in the back of the building look out on an ugly cluster of industrial looking mechanical devices. Overall I feel like the place I returned to again and again over the years is gone, what has replaced it is not a good value, and I will probably look elsewhere on my next trip.
