Beautiful, historical property located on the corner of an incredible plaza with great restaurants and shopping right out your doorstep. The views from the terrace were simply amazing.
Shower was small and bed wasn’t the most luxurious but it was still entirely manageable for how fantastic the view and location was!

Safira is a gem in so far as the room. The hotel has done absolutely everything to provide a spacious, comfortable, well appointed room. Everything sparkles in the room. Modern updates. Great blackout curtains.
The Rue Algiera is a main thoroughfare day and night, with unending traffic headed uphill. The noise was constant albeit the room has double window/doors except not in the bathroom. However there is no sound-proofing from the stair well noise, people talking, their footsteps. And noise from the ceiling by the occupants of the room above. Safira is a modern "Portuguese" hotel in a renovated vintage building. If noise doesn't bother you, this is a great spot.

Location, walkable to everything and near a subway.
The staff was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. 24 hrs reception available was assuring. Beautiful tiled stairway was a plus to come home to.

It had a great location, next door to a small cafe, and only steps away from a pleasant park. We were only a block away from Avenida da Liberdade. The staff was uncommonly helpful. They made us feel like long-lost friends.
We returned to Lisbon two weeks later, so I immediately tried to get a room at the Safira. Unfortunately, they were booked up. We ended up staying at a newer, more modern, but not nearly so pleasant of a hotel. If we ever get the chance to return to Lisbon, we hope to stay at the Safira.
My wife uses a wheelchair when traveling, so a lift from the ground floor to our room would have been nice. Fortunately, we were given a room on the first floor, at the top of the stairs. The staff was exceptionally helpful in getting us up and down, as needed.

It was super clean with comfortable beds. We booked a small twin bed but the room had 2 rooms with 1 double bed and one single bed. So i think they gave us a different room which was pretty nice and convenient.
The view of the balcony was a park.
Everything was clean and we had a nice stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
They provide baggage storage after check out.
The check in time was at 4pm so make sure that suits you.
We knew that the property does not have elevator, and we were on the last floor (4th floor). I won’t suggest it to elderly people, people with disabilities and big and heavy suitcases.
The noise from other rooms was so loud even when they were talking on the phone or checking out at 4-5 in the morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bathroom was more spacious than I expected.
The bed was large and comfortable. The best part was the convenient location, most attractions were within walking distance. The bar downstairs is also worth a visit.
The soundproofing, noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms could be heard.

The actual room did not match the pictures on booking.com. Our room was smaller, and with two people that was surprising. We asked for two double beds, which they accommodated, which we really appreciated. The rooms look out onto a small park/square, which is nice, and there are french doors that open to a small balcony that overlooks the park/street. The street is surprisingly busy, but if you are out sightseeing, shouldn't be a problem! It's a walk up, so keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Staff were nice and very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights, and were basically out all day, for a short stay, it's perfect.
Pictures did not match property. I didn't not like it was a 3 floor walk up, but something to keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues.

The room is clean, and the staff came everyday to clean everything. The towels are changed everyday. Location wise is really good, except that it's quite loud during nights because a lot of cars pass by (we have windows facing the street).
The staff did move our belongings around to make it look nicer and cleaner, but we prefer if they don't, to be honest. We have 1 soap bar and a small pack of shampoo each person everyday, would recommend to bring your own. The shower water was cold half of the time, it took a while to change to warm water, it switches back to cold water sometimes.

Great value property in a good locatin but with limited facilities. Note there is no elevator so getting luggage up the small steps can be a struggle!

Everything ! Staff was awesome and kind.
Also, Staff was Very accommodating.
Cleanliness was very good. They came by everyday , bed was super comfortable.
Being on the 4th floor it was a little bit of a hike but then we got used to it.

The facilities were new, very clean, the beds were made everyday, and it seems they were changing the towels daily as well. Staff was friendly and there 24 hours. Neighborhood is central but quiet, and just 2 blocks from the Avenida metro station (blue line).

Incredibly clean room with fantastic balconies, looking out over a sweet park. The room was spotless, modern, cool, and really nice to return to each evening. Staff was so warm.
I love actual coffee in a room instead of powdered coffee. But there is a little cafe around the corner that has everything.
