Radisson Blu Lisbon is a 4-star hotel, conveniently located less than 1.2 mi from Portela International Airport. At just 328 feet from Campo Grande Metro Station, the hotel has a 24-hour fitness center, 12 conference rooms and high-speed WiFi access throughout. The hotel has many positives: the location is excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. In those respects, it’s a high-quality stay. We didn't notice any noise from nearby traffic or airplanes.
The heating doesn't really work in the rooms, it was quite cold at night. Although we booked a room with 2 beds, which was confirmed online and at reception, we were given one bed and a sofa bed which we had to assemble ourselves. Unfortunately, the pillows were extremely soft and low, which caused significant neck pain for us. When we raised this, the solution offered was simply to use two pillows, which didn’t provide proper support and didn’t resolve the issue. While pillow preference can be subjective, sleep quality is fundamental, and for this reason I would be hesitant to stay again unless firmer pillow options were available. It’s a shame, as otherwise the hotel is very good.

Clean. Friendly staff. Close to airport.
Room freezing cold. Reported it but no fix. Having to use 2 extra blankets and warming the air with hairdryer but that was inadequate. Decided a hot shower would help - no hot water!

Resaurant and staff there were great. The location corresponds to my need (I have interests in the area)
We stayed for 6 nights. There was an absolutely horrible construction plumbing work in next-door rooms three days in a row with using hummer punching drills starting at ~ 8-9 am and almost all day long. As far as we understand a lot of people are staying in the hotel just one night or/and leave early. For people who leave early such work would not be a problem. By circumstances we did not have any need to leave the hotel before noon. For us it was huge trouble. In my humble opinion the assignment of rooms might be made accordingly by asking arrivees about plans. Nobody did, however. I do not think it is even a reception mess. I think an upper management just did not care to do something reasonable about the situation. So this is my impression: the hotel management does not care about customers.

The breakfast was not good at all, as compared with other Radisson Blu hotels or similar hotels in this price range. Specially considering Lisbon which is a relatively cheap city, we were expecting better breakfast variety.

Breakfast was good. For 18 euros it was good
There was cockroaches in the room. We arrived past midnight and didn't notice any. In the morning when we wake up they were all around our food that we left by the TV wardrobe. All our food and baby food went to waste. There was more in the bathroom. We did take a video of it. Still have to complain to the hotel. We live in Manchester UK and stayed in Manchester Airport Radisson Blue Hotel many times and it is always great. In Lisbon-Portugal we felt very disappointed with the cockroaches around.
