Service; Great service. I asked if there is anything they can suggest to celebrate my family's birthday during our stay. It was only 2 days before our arrival but they came back with a lot of suggestions! We ordered the birthday cake and some decorations and they decorated the room for us while we are sightseeing. All the team seemed to be well informed about the birthday and I felt like whole hotel was celebrating the birthday for us.
Location; 2min walk from big metro station. You need to take metro or bus to go to the central but it was pretty easy as they come every 5-10min.
Room; We stayed at family room. It is connecting room of twin room and queen room but connected with the hallway.(basically you have one door to go in and there are doors for each rooms) Twin had bath tub, queen had a shower which was perfect for us as kids wants tub while parents wants stand up shower. Twin room was very big as we could open multiple suitcases. Twin room felt a bit dark but I guess it is standard in Europe. The only negative was the light in the hallwasy was too bright(not able to turn off as one was automatic light and the other was for emergency exit). Since we leave the door open for kids, it was bright to sleep at night that we had to cover the light with something.
Cleanliness; Very clean everywhere. I am picky about the cleanliness of the hotel but I felt very comfortable in this hotel.
Breakfast; A lot of varieties of bread and fresh juice. I wish there was more variety of warm meal and salad. Since we stayed for 4nights we got board with the same menu.

Staff were amazing, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We were with a one year old baby and felt looked after our entire stay.
If I have to find something, the ventilation in the bathroom was not working properly and steam after bath:shower went into the bedroom which increased humidity. This was our only slight discomfort, everything else was perfect.

The staff at Portobay Marques is excellent - warm, friendly and attentive. Room was very comfortable and clean. It was always a good place to come back after a long tiring day. Location is very convenient to the Metro and just about a 20 minutes car ride from LIS airport, also a convenient distance to the Lisbon downtown area. There are some interesting local Pastry shops within 5 minutes walking distance to try out local treats.
Nothing to mention here. I had a great experience during my stay.
