We have stayed at this property at least 3 times. This was our first time back in a few years. It's a very nice hotel in a nice location. Lots of newer restaurants nearby. The last day there was a street market with local crafts on Av. da Liberdade, a bonus. We are walkers and are happy to walk the 15 minutes to Rossio and another 10 to Praça do Comércio. LOVE the pool and spa area - even outdoor sunbathing. The hotel bar was nice for a nightcap - fun waiter.
We asked for restaurant recommendations to a local, casual Portuguese fish restaurant and all we got were high end, fancy places a taxi ride away...They really should have a list for travelers who don't want to be fancy all the time and who want to experience true or traditional Portuguese dining.

Have stayed here many times and it’s always an excellent experience; rooms are clean & comfortable, staff are attentive, spa services amazing and food choices at breakfast & dinner (I do half board) are delicious. Great location only 20 odd minute walk to Tragus River if you want to do a boat cruise and plenty of stops for food & drinks on the way!

We chose this hotel, to have a day chilling at the spa. This indoor pool was a bit cold, but the sauna steam and massage area were lovely. You can relax around the pool and courtyard. Seven floors up there is a rooftop bar which was very pleasant, but only open till 6 pm in low season.
The Jacuzzi was on the rooftop bar - floor 7, but the swimming pool and gym were at the basement level, it was a bit weird to go up in the elevator to use the Jacuzzi.

The room was lovely and location was amazing. Breakfast was gorgeous.
There was a bit of construction nearby so a bit noisy in the mornings but that’s obviously not the hotels fault!

Very nice luxury Hotel. Outstanding the friendly staff, wonderful SPA with Sauna, Steam Bath inside Pool; wonderful rooftop bar. Very good Breakfast Buffet but also all individual wishes. Location very good, close to the shopping areas (luxus) but also only 15 minutes walk to old town. Very calm environment.
All perfect, just nothing to complain about.Especially the staff deserves my biggest Thanks; all had been so nice and friendly . Outstanding.

We had a wonderful stay. Great staff and a wonderful breakfast .
We had no milk in our room for tea, we used the cold milk from the fridge. When checking out I advised the receptionist and offered to pay, she said no charge but after checking out we were charged for the milk from the minibar?
