Location, helpful young staff. Quirky lighting and decor all football themed making it quite unique, somewhat similar but more modern than Mal Maison hotels.
Small bedroom despite being a “superior double. The problem is the furniture. A big bed that is jammed against the couch such that you cannot stretch your legs out while seated. The right hand side had a bedside table but the left side by the shower side wall had desk pushing everything into the window and couch. The furniture layout needs to be looked at - it was a faff to move around. The longish shower tray with a small raised platform at the entrance was bizarre and felt insecure without any grab rails. There is not enough public space at entrance level as you more or less are in the Sports bar off the street.
