Wonderful
Spacious 2-bed apartment on the 4th floor (note, no lift and 81 steps up spiral staircase) with narrow balcony giving lovely views over Rua Augusta and the city. The staff very friendly and helpful, they help carry your bags :) Perfect location for our long weekend, near Rossio station for 45min trip to Sintra. Many walking tours leave from Commerce Square a few mins walk away. You are in the heart of it all and everywhere very accessible on foot or tram. January a great time to visit with less crowds and no queues!

Super cute and quaint inside. Decor and Nespresso coffee were lovely too!
We were on the 5th floor with no elevator and very narrow spiral stairs. By day 3 I was fine:) No living space to hang out as a family. We could hear the people upstairs and next to us.

The staff was amazing - so friendly and helpful - great communication. The little touches meant a lot - including pastiche de nata on our arrival as well as a special treat of traditional Christmas sweets. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. The location was great - easy walk to subway, waterfront, Rossio, Alfama, Alta Bario, etc. - plus lots of good food nearby (Paul the bakery is so good and reasonably priced.)
We arrived during their office hours so checkin was easy but not sure how easy it would have been if we arrived after 6pm. Not a problem for us but there is no lift - something to keep in mind if you have heavy suitcases. The person who checked us in helped us out so we didn't have a problem. The main bedroom had lots of room but the smaller room was a bit small for our two teens. One had to put their suitcase in the living room. That said, they loved having their own little "suite". Last thing, we loved being in the middle of everything but it was loud at night with street musicians.

The apartment itself was comfortable and was in a good location
What I was paying was not worth a six-floor walk-up. Beware "balcony" means walking up six flights. My 70-year old mother had to go up and down the stairs multiple times each day.
There are also street performers that are loud until past 10pm.
Air conditioning was also broken in one room

EVERYTHING. Spacious, clean, comfortable and safe. As a solo traveler is this the place you want to stay. I wish I would had picked this place on my first 3 nights before moving across Portugal. The place was spotless with great AC!! Loved it! The stair case is so beautiful.
I want to thank the staff for accommodating me last minute. I had such a bad experience with the accommodation during my last night in Lisbon. But Otília Apartments made everything better. I’m rested and now I can catch a 9hr flight fresh!
They received with a smile, and pastel de nata! And the location it’s to died for!

Wonderful location and great staff. Very well maintained building and rooms. Excellent views of the city. Easy in and out of the building and very safe.
The stairs are very steep and the top floor is hard to avoid hitting your head. This is expected for the top floor of a building in Lisboa, but can be hard to come back to after a day of exploring.

Everything. Stairs may be difficult for some but it was on the first level up. No an issue for us.
Parking had to in a public lot that we needed to find. Providing parking location options prior to arriving would have been helpful.

Great and easy communication with the hotel via booking.com app and WhatsApp. Being able to communicate via WhatsApp was particularly helpful when travelling with no local number.
Clean with pastel de nata as welcome gift was a great touch.
While the location of the property was excellent, the hotel misinformed about the “sound proofing”. We were able to hear the noise from the streets. Unfortunately, there was busking going on right in front of the hotel and we could hear the sound from the street AND of people walking up and down the stairs of the building and talking. Given that I was travelling with young kids, the noise that went on past midnight was less than ideal.
I understand that this is not uncommon for properties located on the Main Street of Chiado, but then the hotel should NOT have advertised “sound proof” as one of the features of the property. I booked the hotel thinking that I can have the great location as well as the good night sleep.

Needs an elevator as the property is family style rooms so guests will always have suitcases, and sometimes large ones. Difficult staircase. Info should be indicated on website especially if there are older guests.

Overall the location was great...it was easy to walk Lisbon from the apartment. The size and cleanliness and comfort exceeded expectations.
There was a loud karaoke party right outside the apartment on 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Ended around 11:30 pm each night. Nothing the hotel could do about it...but still a pain. And there's no elevator. So for travelers with lots of luggage or have a hard time getting up stairs you need to be aware of this...although the host was very kind in helping us take luggage to our room and down when we left.

There was construction and so there was no castle view in the castle view room. But that is understandable.
