Beautiful rooms and garden. Didn’t care for the paintings in the dining room, but it was a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful
Just those contemporary paintings in the dining room, but I’m a curator with rather avant garde tastes

The property is very nice and the rooms are beautiful.
The location isn’t incredible as a tourist but that’s not why we chose it. The value for money isn’t great and if you’re sharing a room the shower in the space isn’t ideal

the room didn`t look like nothing on the pictures. the property itself is historic, the dinning/breakfast room is beautiful. but the room is just simple average room you dont wanna spend there more time than needed. I paid for a simple room, first option offered on booking, no big deal.

The room was luxurious with a comfy bed.
The coffee was great and there is free drip ☕ and tea.
We were gifted a bottle of the brut with chocolates and fruits
The breakfast was nice.
While the subway station is not too far of a walk, I would not recommend trekking it with suit cases, as it's uphill on cobble stone. Also the station at the time we were there did not have an elevator, which meant carrying all the luggage up the stairs.
Take a bolt instead.
Walls are thin, so expect to hear and be heard.

Check-in and check-out were very easy and smooth.
The front desk staff gave good recommendations of places to visit and things to do.
Location was excellent with groceries, restaurants and tourist sites within easy walking distance.
Breakfast was hearty and delicious and service was quick.
Room, bed linen and towels were very clean.
There was a problem with hot water the first day but the staff was super helpful and responsive and got it fixed while we were out.
We were in room 16 and the floorboards creaked with every step, which was annoying.
There was no closet, only a garment rack with a railing (and some hangers).

Exceptional hotel, wonderful staff, great food and coffee. Easy walking distance to many Lisbon sites. We stayed here on each end of a cruise we took, would definitely stay again!

Excellent breakfasts. A very beautiful mansion with an inner garden. About a 20-minute walk to the tourist site. Highly recommended!

The premises are beautiful, both the restored and new artwork (by street artist Bordalo II) is super interesting. The garden is an unexpected patch of greenery in the middle of the city. The reception staff was great.
We stayed on the second floor and could hear all the noise from the restaurant downstairs -and from our neighbours upstairs-, but I think is kind of expected from a place as old as this.

Nice historical building, very nice stuff, Very courteous service during breakfast , huge bathroom.
Room itself was a bit small, working desk without electricity socket for the computer, a bit far from the center, a bit disappointing breakfast (served to the table, not a buffet. BUT - good food and good service).

Property was clean. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.
Staff were either very attentive and over the top or not very attentive at all.
No storage in room for luggage and we were in the back property where the lighting was poor and very slippery after it rained.
The property seems very tired and needs some renovation to maintain age of property.
