Wonderful
They were helpful with the parking ticket even when I checked out early they were willing to keep my parking spot until after we walked to a coffee shop and back

I made three nights with the free-cancellation policy. When I checked in the first night I was very upset with what was there so I contacted booking to enquire about canceling the next nights. The booking agent said I can do so, if the refund would be processed by the hotel, booking would do it. The next morning when I checked out the hotel staff promised me the refund would be done the same day. When I haven’t got it after five days, I complained to booking and booking consulted the hotel telling me that the refund is not possible. I would not have left the hotel that morning knowing it’s not refundable. The hotel is a scam.

Wonderful
Pretty decent breakfast! Kids particularly enjoyed the pancake machine. The hotel is located at a 7-8 minute walking distance from the nearest metro station. The commute to and from the city center is fairly convenient.
The gym was closed throughout our stay. The hotel did inform us that it was undergoing renovation but no one mentioned that the gym would be closed during this period. Would have been good to have prior notice.

Sofa bed good for a small child but would be on the small side for a teenager or adult
Staff were great.
Nothing to not like really - seemingly undergoing renovations (no noise) and there's a lack of atmosphere there right now , likely will be improved soon enough. Totally fine for what we needed.

We were surprise to find out that the hotel was remodeling. We had trouble checking in and parking our car. It was close to the US embassy which was the reason we booked this place. The bed was comfortable and we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. There are lots of bakeries around the area with better and cheaper options.
The hotel should have informed us about the remodeling. The checking in area was downstair, the machine to pay for parking didn't work. It fell a disorganized.

Close to the center, and very clean
The “tourist tax” is barely noticeable as part of the total payment. You are only informed of this charge during the check-in process, when an additional amount (X) is applied. I believe this fee should be clearly included and disclosed during the initial booking process, rather than added separately at check-in. Furthermore, it appears that this charge is not reflected in the invoice, which may cause confusion for guests.
I would appreciate greater transparency regarding this matter.

Tv did not work re satellite down. They could have told us when we checked in and saved us a lot of holiday time trying to figure out what we were doing wrong. Hotel under renovation. No mention of this on website either. Might not have chosen it if we had known. Dog fee too high. (Therefore dog not friendly) Windows did not open. Felt suffocating. Beds comfortable. Shower great. Quiet.
