Location. Sitting over water of the river, beautiful views. Excellent food. Modern and clean. Staff is bending over backwards to help, the spa and facilities exceptional.

Location, view, amenities.
There was a time when reception would recognise returning guests and ask how was your stay. There was a time when rooms were spotlessly clean. There was a time when bathroom amenities made you want to come back. There was a time when staff was an accommodating to requests. There was a time but not anymore. It’s big downgrade across the board on the experience you had 15, 10, 5 years ago. The view is still there, but not the service and not the magic.

The friendly reception and Spa staff (5 stars) as they went above and beyond. The room upgrade was an unexpected bonus (much appreciated).

The hotel had a great vibe! The room was on the 16th floor and had a spectacular view of the Vasco de Gama bridge. I loved the shower and the jacuzzi in the room. Staff was outstanding especially Sofie at the restaurant. The wallet put two bottles of fresh water in our car every day! Everbody was super curtious, professional and very helpful. I hope to return with my whole family soon.
The property might need a little up keep overall, but that did bother us too much. I can't say there was anything that we did not like.

A 5 star hotel must have a shaving kit, a toothbrush kit, as well as other small amenities... needle and thread to sew on a button, etc. This is not at all acceptable.
