The front desk person when I checked in was absolutely wonderful - unfortunately I didn't catch his name and the rest of the staff were not as helpful or enthusiastic. Absolutely excellent location right in Rossio square! Good breakfast available and complimentary wine in the afternoons. The room was clean and neat.
I was on the 3rd floor and for some reason, when a bus or truck would turn onto the road in the night, the entire room would shake. I live in California and literally it felt like multiple 3-3.5 earthquakes all night. I did not sleep well because of it. The window opens all the way but could use a screen or something to keep the bugs and birds out! Being in the middle of Rossio square, it is very loud at night from the restaurants and bars, but this is to be expected for the location. Front door is hard to find and could use some sidewalk signage. The bed was extremely firm and the pillows were extremely deflated. There are dim lights in the room but it's only bright in the daytime with the curtains open.

* Excellent location
* Really trendy room, which was clean, comfortable and quiet (albeit reasonably small)
* The staff were very helpful and friendly
* Breakfast was very good (lots of choice)
* The complimentary pastel de nata on arrival was a nice touch!
*The air con was a little noisy but because the room had shutters that kept the heat out during the day so we didn’t need it on much anyway!

LOCATION! very walkable and also close to Rossio station. Had a welcome pastel de nata in room, yum! Our room had a view of the square, nice!
bathroom needs more towel racks, had a hard time finding a place to hang towels. Shower door / seal was defective, water would get out while in shower, bathroom floor got wet.
room was smaller than expected but was ok, had smaller ones in japan.

We loved the room and location. Only issue was that there was too much room lighting that we could not turn off at night making it difficult to sleep.

Great central location at Rossio Square, just a short walk away from metro stations on the green and blue lines, and close to many restaurants and cafes. Room is clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast is good, though there are breakfast options near to the hotel too.
The layout of the room I was given is not ideal – the door opens up to a vestibule, where the bathroom is, and then a very cramped bedroom further inside. Not the best use of space. There is also no central switch next to the bed that controls the main lighting in the room.
