The location
The breakfast was bland and tasteless—even at a low price, it didn’t feel worth it. I’d happily pay more for something edible. For what they charge per night, the hotel itself feels overpriced and underwhelming. Only one lift, and it’s painfully slow.
On a positive note, the young woman at the front desk gave us a genuinely warm welcome—easily the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the man at reception when we checked out had the charm of a coat hook. No greeting, no farewell, and the invoice he promised to email never arrived.
The room provided barely enough drinking water for a toddler—not ideal in summer. The “welcome drink” offer is limited to beer, wine, or soda—even during happy hour. Bathroom amenities were minimal, especially for the price point.
Overall, not good value. A forgettable stay, for all the wrong reasons.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. We arrived well before check in time and were lucky enough to be given a room almost immediately. Fabulous location and comfortable room. Amazingly good value breakfast with a huge range of traditional and Portuguese food.

Location and staff were great. Luggage storage after checkout allowed us to continue to explore the city until our flight.
We couldn’t figure out how to turn the light out over the minibar when ready to go to sleep.

Location excellent; very helpful and pleasant staff.
Room rather cramped, especially bathroom. Shower door leaked water heavily onto floor, which had to be mopped up with towels. Not very safe or pleasant.

The room was spacious, shower and bathroom was excellent and breakfast was lovely. The location was also wonderful and staff were very friendly
The only comment (and very minor complaint!) I'd have was that every light had been switched on to welcome me to the room and though it all looked lovely - it was quite a mission to find the 7-8 switches I needed to find to turn them all off at night!

We stayed at My Story Hotel Rossio and had a wonderful experience. I would like to especially mention Andreia and Renato at the front desk – they were both incredibly kind, professional, patient, and welcoming. They assisted us with every question and request, always with a smile and a great attitude. Thanks to them, we felt truly taken care of and enjoyed our stay even more. Thank you so much!

I got a room with a 140cm wide bed, a bit small, but originally I booked for one person , that I changed to 2 and I assume the room stayed.
