Excellent location - perfect for exploring the bars, restaurants, shops, etc. in the streets surrounding and along the riverfront with easy access to public transport, tour buses, and river cruises. Our room was very clean and made up every day, the staff were mostly all very friendly. Excellent choice of food for continental breakfast - all the usual fare plus some local specialities. Despite the negatives listed we did thoroughly enjoy our time in Lisbon and hope to return soon
We messaged via booking.com, well in advance, to organise a transfer from the airport as the wife is a wheelchair user. We supplied the hotel flight details and were told that a driver would be waiting for us in the arrivals hall. Me, my wife and the MyWay disability assistance operative from the airport all traipsed around the arrivals Hall 3 times looking for someone holding up a card with our name on it....no card to be seen. The MyWay operative then called the hotel for us....nobody seemed to know anything about our booking. Ended up getting an Uber for less money than hotel was going to charge. As if that wasn't bad enough, on arrival, we checked that we would have a transfer back to the airport at 6.00am on the day we were leaving. The hotel took 25 from us and gave us a receipt and promised that a taxi would be there.......guess what? No taxi arrived, and one not available at that time. The hotel did refund the 25 and luckily, we were able to get another Uber back to the airport. Very poor.
The room was very dark with only one tall, thin glass door that opened out on to a first floor roof which was where all the air con units, and laundry/kitchen vents were. If you did open the door, it was like being inside a factory...so noisy that you couldn't keep the door open.
We were also unable to adjust the air con, which was fine with me but the wife feels the cold and had to wrap herself up in all the sheets and blankets if we were in the room for any length of time. We were told that the aircon was set centrally and locked off by the engineers to prevent system failures.
Given that the room was wheelchair accessible we thought that there should be a few more grab handles around the shower and maybe a chair in the shower for people that have difficulty standing - which brings me to my next point. It was impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom floor as the screen was too small.

Compressor so loud in room originally reserved made it impossible to sleep. Following complaints moved to another room on 5th floor. Would never recommend room on 1st floor.

AMAZING Location! could see St. Georges Castle from out room! could walk everywhere, right in the heart of town. it was very clean and the staff was great as well. very attentive and knowledgeable. Hot fresh breakfast and coffee every morning to start your day. 100% would recommend.

Great location!
Super small rooms, shower leaked, a/c unit was very loud, housekeeping took robes one day and never replaced them. Not sure if this is typical in Lisbon but it seems to be less for your money than in other parts of Portugal.

Perfect location. New, clean rooms and bathrooms.
I was given an attic room, which limits tue usable floor surface area significantly. It also meant that, to walk to the one side of the bed, I had to bend over, as there height of the sloping ceiling is too low to walk upright. The same applies to using the toilet. I believe that these attic rooms should be sold at a discounted rate, which they were not. The room cleaning service also never came to even ask if I wanted my room cleaned, despite the Clean my Room sign hanging outside my door the entire day while I was out sightseeing. As I only stayed for two nights, this was not a big issue, but I expected to at least be asked if I needed anything.

The location is unbeatable and the staff are professional and helpful.
It's showing its age and is a little tired-looking now. A good refresher, especially in the bathroom must be done sooner rather than later. The grout lines/shower seams are badly maintained.
