Staff really helpful . My husband had a fall in the bathroom the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Also our flight was delayed and it was well after midnight when we arrived but a member if staff was there to welcome us and assist my husband who suffers from MS and is wheelchair dependant
There was a lack of rails in the accesable bathroom and no shower seat which contributed to my husband having a fall. A shower seat was got for him . But accesabke rooms should have appropriate fittings in the bathrooms

The location was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the staffs assistance whenever I required help e.g. in checking with my booked tour operator on the logistics for meet-up, returning jewellery that I had left behind unknowingly upon check-out.
The shower screens could be maintained better, for smoother operations.

We were there on our honeymoon and we couldnt have picked a better hotel! The staff were extremely helpful even though we had quite a lot of requests. Breakfast was very good and the location is just ideal. Even though the room windows were on the Main Street, we did not have much noise throughout the night

Very nice style, great location. Comfy bed.
Rooms are tiny, cupboard space is lacking. Rooms can do with some better upkeep although loose bathroom finishing were rectified upon request which is great.

For those looking to rest midday or on the weekend, this hotel is on a very noisy street with Times Square-like performers and bag knockoff hawkers. The surrounding restaurants are aimed at clueless tourists. It really felt like staying in Times Square, a place I actively avoid as a New Yorker. My bad for not doing enough research on the area, but I hadn't encountered this side of Lisbon during previous stays. I recommend staying a few blocks away from this particular cross street. Nothing the hotel can do except further soundproof or work with the city to move the performers to the boardwalk area. The room and bathroom were also extremely tiny and difficult to move around in.

This hotels name sometimes includes the word Charming, an appropriate description for this lovely hotel ideally located in the heart of the old city, a few blocks from the waterfront. Despite looking down on busy Augusta Street, vibrant with restaurants (many outdoors) and shops, when you shut the well insulated windows, it was perfectly quiet in our room on the 3rd floor (and I am pretty sensitive to noise). In addition, the sounds (when you had the windows open) were more the bustling of a vibrant, rather than yahoo neighbourhood. There were also no loud music anywhere in the downtown core, and the whole area was quiet during the night. The staff were wonderful, including a manager who helped us when we had a problem getting transportation on the day we were leaving. The included breakfast was served in a well-windowed restaurant where you could people watch, while getting ready for a day of walking the downtown. This location is so great for walking all of the downtown areas of Lisbon, taking in the historical and scenic charms of the various and unique neighbourhoods. The room was very comfortable, clean, the shower was hot and water pressure good. The room wasnt large, but it served the purpose. We loved Lisbon, and this hotel was a big part of that.
Minor complaints, given that we would definitely come back here. The room was quite small and contained almost no storage. There were no drawers to put clothes in, so we had to lay our suitcases open (mine on the floor), and put some things in the windowsill. The bathroom was quite large, and could have provided another opportunity for storage, but there was none. As I said, minor complaints in an otherwise ideal and welcoming hotel.
