Excellent property very central and Miguel was so kind and coordinated our stay so well. We were a family with 2 kids, there was a large room for the kids to play Would def recommend the property to families. Everything was great. Metro was a min away, many Resturant’s, grocery stores and loads of shopping.

I absolutely loved staying at Mercador; everything about it was exceptional and special. As soon as I walked in the building, my jaw dropped; the architectural details took my breath away. This is a place with a history and a legacy that seeps through the walls, and you can feel it. My studio apartment was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. It had everything I needed, and Miguel, the host, couldn’t have been more gracious, communicative, and accommodating. He also offered a lot of very valuable recommendations. In my opinion, the location is the best in the city, conveniently located within walking distance to many attractions, but on a relatively quiet street. The apartment was very quiet at night, exceeding my expectation in every way. I highly recommend staying at Mercador, if you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to do so. If I’m ever back in Lisbon, I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else. Thank you, Miguel!

I liked the central location. The look of the place is appealing. The host was welcoming via WhatsApp, which was a very good way to communicate. We arrived later than we thought due to the flight being late and the Lisbon airport being inefficient. Somebody was waiting for us to give us the keys. There was a little bottle of port, which was a very nice touch.
It was surprising that the building itself was cool, but the apartment was quite hot. It is a very noisy street when you have to open the windows. Saying that in the night with closed windows, it was quiet. It was nice to have a little kitchen, but I would have liked to have had at least one working knife and a chopping board. The shower was challenging to make it work, but it did not matter so much as I enjoyed cooler showers. To conclude, none of these things are crucial to having a good time, but just some things I noticed.

Everything at the accommodation was pitch perfect. Beautiful renovation of historic building; extremely comfortable bed & luxurious linens. We had everything we needed. Wonderful location too!! Miguel was so helpful when our passport was left in the back of a taxi!

Our suite was clean and spacious. In a very old building, so lots of character. Good dining places close by.

Car access for load/unload is hit or miss … but that is a Lisbon street problem, not a Mercador failing

Beautiful historic building right nearby transit, great restaurants, and a nice avenue with lots of shops. The host was communicative and easy to reach. The room was quiet and cozy. Easy to check in and out.

Excellent location in safe neighborhood, central but quiet, near public transport (metro, bus), walking distance to main city spots, nice restaurants in the same street and supermarket just opposite the apartment. Clean, very spacious, nice decoration, equipped kitchen. Very helpful, kind and responsive host. Thanks for everything!

Very comfortable apartment, very stylish and clean. Good location. Very welcoming touches such as meeting with the principal person and welcome drink.
Would have been better to have a 2nd key so that could have more independence.

what a delight ! beautiful accommodation, fantastic location a short walk away from the city centre, just off a street with wonderful designer shops. so many great places to eat nearby and Miguel, our host, was lovely enough to provide us with really helpful and yummy food recommendations. Miguel was amazing overall, really great communication throughout our trip! I recommended Mercador to a friend planning a trip to Lisbon soon but it was fully booked, and for good reason! If you are considering staying here and get the chance to don't miss out!

It’s spacious, suitable for big families. The rooms were well heated in winter which is appreciable in winter though it’s much warmer than most countries in Europe.
It’s overrated and definitely needed more cares from the owner. We paid about 250 euros per night during new year. However it does not worth.
Many things were broken or missing, such as the door nob in the one of the bathroom, the stopper in the sink. You can even see a toothpaste cap sitting in the drain. The shower head kept dropping water no matter how hard you fastened it. There was water left in the kettle from last guest. The tea box was half empty like you were having someone’s leftover.
Anyway, if you are looking for somewhere spacious for a family, it’s one of the options. But never book during new year, because it is not worth 250 euros per night with extra 25 euros of city tax (for 2 person 2 nights).
