Located in a refurbished, late 19th century building in the quaint Alfama district, Memmo Alfama – Design Hotel offers a 24-hour reception. 1. My room (#6) was damp, musty smelling. 2. Insufficient lighting, ie., lack of overhead lighting for packing luggage on the bed. 3. lack of luggage storage 4. Sink and shower faucet is not user intuitive. Its overly minimalist design is bordering pretentious. 5. Dining facilities lack comfortable dining table. Uncomfortable low on the ground tables. (except communal table)

The Staff were amazing-breakfast service prompt freshly made and personal -front desk team also way above average and the Manager really appreciates her team and their efforts to provide excellent service
Our first choice of room was really not suitable for storage of a longer stay -but then they listened and immediately upgraded us

Staff very professional and attentive. Super comfy bed.Lovely shower and the view of the room fantastic.Little touch’s like glass water bottle and amazing supply of amenities.Look inside of the wardrobe and you will have a nice surprise..Very filling breakfast…Nice spread of produce and one can choose how your eggs can be made..

We loved the hotel's design and the staff were all welcoming and friendly. Our room was beautiful with wonderful views.
The only thing to note is that you have to walk out a cobblestone street to get to the main street from the hotel - our airport taxi dropped us off on the main street and we had to struggle with our bags to the main entrance. When we departed, the hotel booked a car that came right to the entrance!

Lovely hotel in a great location, amazing views and peaceful at night. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were some of the best we've met on our travels, friendly and helpful.
Seating arrangements in bar and lounge could be more comfortable, with more tables and chairs at better height for eating.

I liked everything in this hotel. Memmo Alfama is wonderful hotel. Totally nailed with the style that have applied, the location where it is, the decorations of the hotel and the rooms everything is a big win. The hotel gives so much cosiness in the interior that is incredible, you feel like you are in your apartment although you are in a hotel restaurant. I don't have words that can express my satisfaction by the hotel staff, which every time was ready to help, knowledgeable and very friendly. This is a hotel that i will come over again if i visit Lisbon.
I can't think of anything that can be better in this hotel.
