Disappointing
The host and cleaning lady were friendly and smiling.
The host was not available on phone nor WhatsUp when needed.
The place looks miserable and far from what you'd expect from the pictures.
Beat up furniture, mold in the bathroon, old and torn carpet, noise from an adjacent washing machine untill after midnight! - just to name a few.

Very Good
Location. The owner was friendly, very helpful, answer all my questions & give me valuable advances.
Not aware about additional staircase to 3rd floor, where is my room located. It's OK with me, but not OK for person with any small mobility problem, need to know at the booking time. All other is good enough. Even with this in mind
I'll stay at your location on my future trip.

Beautiful old building near the city's oldest bookstore and other shops. We enjoyed the many options for breakfast. The library and cat were a plus for us.

Our Host Antonio was helpful on multiple fronts.
Excellent stay overall. Since the room lacked air conditioning, it could have been more of an issue had it been warmer.

Good
Beautiful unique property in a perfect location . It is small guest house bathrooms we’re down the hall tho notice . No AC but fans were good tho with windows open there is street noise
It was not the friendliest , no help was offered when luggage arrived 2 days late ( stated only no one is there after 3 pm ) so figure it out . A lot of rules where you could sit - esp not to use kitchen after 11 am , I understand but we were not allowed to sit in the area or patios off kitchen . Which were a lovely place to have a glass a wine . Antonio was abrupt and cool

The location was excellent. I liked the common rooms, the lounge and the breakfast area. The breakfast was a great perk, fresh and well stocked. The hosts and staff were friendly and attentive.
The only thing I thought could be improved were the beds, a little too firm for my taste.

Good
Location of the property is top-notch. The renovated building has its genuine charm. All staff members were friendly. The permanent presence of "Almada" the ginger cat and his friendly attitude towards the guests were really a great bonus. Check-in was well organized. The entry instructions were quite clear. Hotel proprietor's treatment of us (and other guests, as far as I could tell) was very courteous, friendly and professional. Room was mostly clean.
Well, there could have been a small fridge in the room. It escaped my attention when booking the property. How hard or expensive could it be to furnish the room with a hotel refrigerator? Also, how much more expensive could it be to put a water kettle, a few sachets of instant coffee and a few infused tea bags in the rooms? We paid nearly EUR 200 per night and we didn't even get a fridge and a kettle. Go figure. Breakfast, which was included in the room price, was self service. I mean, you cook your own eggs, pick up your refrigerated stuff (cheese, ham etc) from the fridges in the kitchen during breakfast hours. These fridges can't be used by the guests to store even water outside the breakfast time. When you charge EUR 200 per night, guests could reasonably expect breakfast to be served -- at least. I'm not even complaining from the the bug that visited our bathroom at night.. Come on, you can do better.

Location was great. Enjoyed the aesthetics, kind of quirky. Good shower.
Bit of a cat odor in the common area. We would have liked access to a small refrigerator, either in our room or in common area.
No comfy chair in room.
