This is easily one of the most unique hotels I’ve ever stayed at. There’s art in every tiny detail, right down to the soap dispensers, the elevators, the doors and ceilings. The Ruby Rosa menu is actual poetry. Nothing in this place is boring.
More practical info: the staff are wonderful, the beds super comfortable, the location close to everything you need, and all areas are clean and well maintained.
10/10 recommend!

Very Good
The location is excellent — right in the heart of the old city, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful.
The room was more like a suite. It featured a spacious entrance area with two twin beds, an open-plan kitchen, and a bathroom. This section also had a small French balcony. In addition, there was a separate enclosed bedroom with its own private bathroom.
The suite was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, kettle, plates, and cutlery — truly everything one might need, and more. A complimentary bottle of red wine was a thoughtful touch and tasted delicious. The open buffet breakfast was rich and satisfying. The room had air conditioning with both cooling and heating, which was very convenient.
On the downside, the room did not quite match the photos we had seen prior to arrival. Although it received natural daylight, it felt somewhat dark, as it overlooked a narrow gap between buildings. The windows were covered with stickers for privacy, which further limited the view and light. Another detail we were not aware of beforehand was that the hotel consists of two separate blocks. Our room was not located in the main building where the reception and breakfast area are, but in the adjacent building. This meant that in rainy weather we had to put on coats and walk outside between the buildings — not a major issue in good weather, of course, but less convenient when it rains. The dining hall had a coffee machine, and there was often a line in front of it. Adding a second machine would make breakfast more comfortable and efficient.

If you like to explore Lisbon's tourist areas by foot, this is the place to stay. We walked almost everywhere (and took mass transit when it was raining). Staff was super-helpful the one time I needed help with something in my room. Good restaurants within 5 meters of the hotel door (one is Indian) ... probably 100 restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
There is a cool, trendy, "alternative" bar on the roof of the hotel. At 61yo, I was definitely among the older patrons but I still felt welcome and like I had a place there. Drink menu was *exceptional*! This is a place you must try at least once if you stay here.
Breakfast was provided. Lots of things to eat -- something for everyone! I ate some known and unknown items which were very tasty -- get there early (opens at 7:30a) if you want to pick your table!

Hotel’s location is perfectly central, the rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help.
During my stay it was my birthday, and the staff surprised me by coming to my room with prosecco and a cake with candles to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made my stay even more special.
Every time I come back to Lisbon, this will definitely be my place to stay again.

Great location in the center reachable easily by metro from the airport (one change, 40 min). The room was clean and comfortable, I appreciated small kitchen corner with a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, etc. The breakfast was very good, included warm meals as scrambled eggs, beans, muschrooms, but also fruits and sweets. Very good! Bottle of sparkling wine as a little extra what makes the difference. The staff was also nice and helpful.
Air conditioning wasn't providing the freshest air but we mostly had opened windows so no problem. For some people the noise from the street might be disturbing, but we did not have any problems to sleep.

Great location but the place is a bit outdated! Front desk’s staffs are friendly!
The room is outdated and the rain shower didn’t work and the bathroom door cannot closed. One of the cleaning staffs is rude. I asked for paper towel in the room and she practically said something that I don’t understand and not helpful at all!

I loved the location, the rooftop bar, and the room layout!
Only thing I will say is the shower heads were really high, and I couldn’t adjust it, and the water kept going over the top of the shower door

Very Good
Location very convenient to tourist sites - you can walk many places, the closest Metro is a 3 minute walk, and the train to Sintra is less than 10 min walk. Shower stayed hot and had a massage head which is lovely after long flights and long walking days. Very comfortable bed with 2 pillow options. Having a kitchen also very helpful.
The music in the bar every night from 7:30pm to midnight could be heard in my 4th floor room. I needed a loud white noise app to drown it out. The room was also warm and I could not adjust heating, there was a remote that did not work and I did not see a heater or air con. However the window doors opened and provided cool air for me at night. Lastly the safe in the room is quite small, I wish I could have stored my laptop.
