Offering private and shared accommodations, Lisbon Destination is located in Lisbon’s central Rossio, inside the iconic Rossio Train Station. It an urban jungle lounge and a bar. Lisbon Destination’s accommodations are bright and have free WiFi access. Some offer views of Rossio and others overlook the winter garden. The location is great. Just inside the train station. Very convenient for my trip to Sintra. However, the bathroom had little space to put my staff. My roommate talked on the phone loudly at 5am, which bothered me a lot.

We really enjoyed the overall atmosphere – the plants create a calming vibe, especially with the speakers playing bird sounds in the background. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The location is amazing – we couldn't have asked for a better one. Everything important is within walking distance, and there's easy access to every type of public transportation. The rooms are nicely designed to provide privacy, with a power socket by each bed and a large window for ventilation. There are daily events until quiet hours (which they strictly respect), and the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space to store personal food.
A few downsides: There’s no real air conditioning – according to the staff, it automatically turns off after one hour and cannot be adjusted. Ventilating the room at night isn’t really possible since the window must stay closed to block out the light, bugs, and early morning street performers. Our biggest disappointment was the bathrooms. I’m writing this as constructive criticism, because I think the hostel really needs to address it. The bathrooms were in very poor condition – even public metro bathrooms were cleaner and more pleasant. On most days, I chose to wait until reaching our first stop of the day. They seriously need renovation, just like the private bathrooms upstairs have been renovated. It's also important to make sure there are trash bins in the showers, and to redesign the sinks to suit actual living, not just aesthetics. Something was broken in the bathrooms almost every day. It’s a shame, because it really takes away from an otherwise great experience.

Perfect location, very convinient and close to everything. Great atmosphere and common areas. The staff was amazing as well as the free tour in Alfama. My next time in Lisbon I will repeat for sure!

Wow. This hostel is amazing. The staff, the location all the facilities. You are still allowed to use everything the whole day of your checkout. I’ve been in several hostels around the world. But they really do a very good job to make everything so comfortable as possible.
