Wonderful
Great location. Easily walkable to sights in the Baixa, but quite hilly if going to any other neighborhood. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was on the smaller side, but clean and comfortable. I enjoyed it so much, that I will return there soon and can recommend it as a good value.
It’s in an older retrofit building, of course, so the floor layout is a little confusing with multiple lifts and stairways that all eventually get you where you need to be, just takes a day or two to get acquainted.

Clean beautiful rooms.
Noisy outside, we were close to the trash cans.

The location is the best! Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived early that day and left the luggages at the front. When we came back at night. The luggages were already in our rooms! Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. We reserved 2 rooms and the interesting thing is the balcony is shared. So we can go to each others room from the balcony. That was really fun. The rooms are a little small but it’s understandable since it’s in the heart of the city. So no complaints

Breakfast was excellent. The staff even had gluten free bread for my husband and me.
Lighting in our room was hard to use—switches, etc.
The two agents who checked us in were the best. On another occasion, the young woman was informative and business-like, but not as friendly and helpful.

Good
The location is ideal, but the other My Story around the corner had a more inviting vibe. The breakfast is good, the rooms are nice, it’s worth the price.
I had read about this on other reviews and thought it was a slight exaggeration or perhaps it was just a capricious traveler. Here goes. The towels are absolutely treated like the ancient crowned jewels. You get one bath towel and one hand towel per person and a dingy little towel bath mat “thingy”. Do not ask for any more - you won’t get one. Your room will be cleaned but your dirty towels will not be changed. It is the most awkward experience having to beg for just one extra towel for us to share. (See, the hairdryers shut off after they get too hot (2 minutes). Therefore, those of us with longer hair need a second towel to dry our hair.) It’s a hard NO from the front desk. So, either, bring your towels, buy some there or maybe wash yourself every other day and hang your towel out to dry. As per the breakfast, it’s reliably delicious I just don’t know if it’s worth the price and if it’s not a better idea to explore. Also, the table bussing situation is rather slow. So, just eat and stack your dishes on top of each other as you finish. There is no bin to place them in to make more space (tables are the size of a kindergarteners desk) and they don’t get picked up. I don’t think this is a situation that occurs only at the hotel restaurant, it’s all of Lisbon’s dining rooms experiences (elevated Or not). It is important to note that I absolutely love the 3 hour European dining experience, yet in Lisbon they just don’t come grab the empty dishes. I digress. It’s worth the price. I don’t think I would stay there again.

Exceptional service. Andre (the man in the grey suit) helped us with finding places to visit and tips on how to get there as it was our first time in Portugal. Staff were incredibly nice. We got a free room upgrade. Breakfast was enjoyable. Rooms were very clean. The location of the hotel is great too as it is near tourist attractions.
Just minor things. I wish the TV didn’t automatically turn on every time we entered the room and I wish the sofa bed was cleaned up before we used the room.

The location is perfect, very close to the city center. Breakfast was satisfying, staff was helpful. Rooms are big and clean. They arranged two rooms for us as a family with one entrance. No disturbing noise around
We stayed on the 5th floor, the attic. The ceilings were inclined, we bumped our heads a few times. Be careful if you stay on the fifth floor.

Exceptional
The hotel is exceptional — everything feels so clean, new, and beautifully designed. I really love the decoration and the overall ambiance. It’s also perfectly located in the heart of Lisbon, making it easy to explore most of the city’s main attractions on foot. The surrounding area is very friendly, with plenty of local shops and supermarkets, which makes it especially convenient for tourists.
The only downside was communication with the staff. They are extremely kind and helpful, but sometimes the information you get over the phone doesn’t match what you hear at the reception. For example, I once requested a taxi by phone, but when I went down to the front desk, it hadn’t been arranged. Another time, I was told there would be a lunch buffet, but when I arrived at the restaurant, there wasn’t one. So, communication could be improved — but overall, the staff’s friendliness and helpfulness make up for it.

I didn't expect to like this hotel this much. I think the pictures don't so it enough justice.
Foe the pirce point I paid, everything was just on point. The location was key. The staff was amazing. The room was so clean and comfortable. I got upgraded to a suite for free. Clean bathrooms are a determining factor for me, and this hotel passed with flying colors. They didn't just have couple of bottles of water, they had a whole water system in that room. The view was unexpected. I had a clear view of the castle.
I travel a whole lot. Booking hotels is my second job. And this one was one of my favorites for the location and price in Lisbon.
Thank you for your information!
