The shower didn’t drain correctly and backed up after a couple minutes of showering.

The mattresses on the beds were horrible and sagging. Additionally, the pillows were the type that are stuffed so big that you cannot sleep on them without getting a sore neck. Please figure out how to make a better sleeping experience.

Very disappointed with our stay — the room did not match the description Our overall impression of the hotel and the staff was unfortunately negative. We stayed in a room designed to accommodate up to 5 people. However, upon arrival, it was surprising to see an electric kettle and only one plastic cup in the room, even though our booking clearly stated that two guests would be staying. There was no sugar, no tea or coffee sachets, and no water provided. According to our reservation through Booking, we had booked a “suite” with a garden view, but this was not the case at all. The view from the window was onto a side street, directly facing garbage bins. These were emptied late in the evening, after 10:00 PM, and the noise was clearly audible in the room. The room definitely did not meet the standard of a suite. The baseboards, wardrobe, and doors were visibly worn. The shower was poorly designed — water constantly leaked from the shower tray onto the bathroom floor. The staff did not seem welcoming. When we approached the reception and asked for an additional cup and a few sugar and coffee or tea sticks, the receptionist advised us to go to the restaurant and ask the bartender for them. It is unclear why a hotel guest should have to spend time asking the bartender for such basic items after already speaking to the receptionist. In the end, we were given two disposable cardboard cups and some sugar sticks at the restaurant — but we did not receive any tea or coffee. It is difficult to understand why a room designed for 5 guests had only one plastic cup and no basic beverages or water. Why should a hotel guest have to buy their own tea, coffee, or disposable cups, or request them at the restaurant? We would also like to suggest that the hotel provide umbrellas in the umbrella stand. It often rains in Lisbon, and guests may genuinely need one. We are very disappointed. We booked a suite with a garden view but received a worn room with a noisy street view instead.
