Walk up 140 stairs from Plaza Rossio, no phone directory in the room (ie, what # to call for reception), TV did not have video AirPlay, insufficient lighting in the room

They met all our expectations for a 4-star hotel and exceeded them with ease. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, the room was spacious, elegant. clean and silent, breakfast was amazing. Cleaning staff came on a daily basis and the on premise restaurant was available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Nice hotel located in the popular Chiado district of old town Lisbon. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to many good restaurants, shopping and attractions. If you want to dine in, there’s a top notch restaurant within the hotel as well.

Great location, and friendly staff
WIFI access was dismal and could do basic Teams or Zoom calls. The staff said maybe because hotel was fully booked, but they need to get sufficient bandwidth to support a fully booked hotel. Maybe it was an ISP problem because of effects from recent storms.

The welcoming and competent staff set the tone for this excellent experience. Although I have been to Lisbon on many occasions, I have never stayed in Largo do Carmo neighborhood and I am so glad to have had the opportunity to stay at Lisboa Carmo Hotel. And I look forward to doing it again. I really appreciate the hotel crew -- Diego and the rest of the team -- for their help and extraordinary efforts to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. The hotel’s location is perfect on a quiet street in the center of Lisbon. The train station, metro, and bus stops are very close, so it’s easy to travel around the city. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we slept very well. The staff were friendly and helpful. I also liked that the hotel provides umbrellas, which was very helpful during the rainy season. The breakfast was good, but it was the same every day. It would be nice to have more variety at breakfast ?. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. We definitely recommend this hotel.
