Perfect location. In the heart of old Lisbon and close to the shopping stores
May be no services at night. If the restaurant close then no food or water but super market is 2 blocks away from Carmo hotel so no big deal

The location is perfect - it is very close to lots of sightseeings, restaurants and shops. The room was big and comfortable.
The only thing missing was the kettle - I would really appreciate an opportunity to make tea in my room.

Location is excellent with the Chiado, Bairro Alto and Rossio all within easy walking distance!
For the first time in my 40 years of business and private travel that I could not charge my meals to room! It happened twice in 2 days.. a lot of apologies, w/o a valid explanation why this problem occurred. The dinner in the inhouse restaurant ‘Maria do Carmo’ was very disappointing, not in-line with the level the hotel ambitions!

The location is very central but still quiet place, clean. Room is spacey, bed is comfortable. Small gift with local sweets added a charm .also nice restaurant at the property with Fado show on Wednesday ( we missed that). Great view!

The location was excellent getting to the main attractions was easy, and being close to the train for Sintra was very convenient. The lively square outside added a fun atmosphere to our stay. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating, and I found the bed very comfortable with the room temperature just right. I especially enjoyed the Fado dinner show at the Maria do Carmo Restaurant; it was a wonderful experience.
While I appreciated many aspects of our stay, I felt that the room did not quite meet the standards I’ve experienced at other 4-star hotels in Portugal. The furnishings appeared a bit worn, and there were noticeable stains on the carpet, which detracted from the overall impression.

This hotel was amazing. The room was very spacious with a lot of sunlight and windows, overlooking one of Lisbon's main attractions.The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very rich with a wide continental selection. The staff were very accommodating and friendly so the time. The location is close and convenient to the shopping areas and restaurants. Thanks to this hotel, our vacation was amazing. We will be staying in this wonderful hotel on our next visit to Lisbon.

The hotel was beautiful. The pillows and the bed were like heaven. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The location was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. The wood was polished to a shine. If I had a bed and pillows like the Carmo Hotel, I wouldn't have insomnia! You're simply enveloped in pure comfort.
I liked everything!! Especially the plush, comfy pillows and the bed. In fact, there were 6 pillows on the bed.
