The location was excellent getting to the main attractions was easy, and being close to the train for Sintra was very convenient. The lively square outside added a fun atmosphere to our stay. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating, and I found the bed very comfortable with the room temperature just right. I especially enjoyed the Fado dinner show at the Maria do Carmo Restaurant; it was a wonderful experience.
While I appreciated many aspects of our stay, I felt that the room did not quite meet the standards I’ve experienced at other 4-star hotels in Portugal. The furnishings appeared a bit worn, and there were noticeable stains on the carpet, which detracted from the overall impression.

This hotel was amazing. The room was very spacious with a lot of sunlight and windows, overlooking one of Lisbon's main attractions.The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was very rich with a wide continental selection.
The staff were very accommodating and friendly so the time.
The location is close and convenient to the shopping areas and restaurants.
Thanks to this hotel, our vacation was amazing.
We will be staying in this wonderful hotel on our next visit to Lisbon.

The hotel was beautiful. The pillows and the bed were like heaven. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The location was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. The wood was polished to a shine. If I had a bed and pillows like the Carmo Hotel, I wouldn't have insomnia! You're simply enveloped in pure comfort.
I liked everything!! Especially the plush, comfy pillows and the bed. In fact, there were 6 pillows on the bed.

Gorgeous property with a polite staff. The room was beautiful and the beds extremely comfortable. The location was so convenient to restaurants, sites and shopping. The onsite restaurant was fantastic.

Everything was perfect, a 4 star hotel combining modernity and authenticity – exactly what we looks for when visiting Lisbon.
Perfectly located in the city center, right in a shopping district, and at just 5 minutes from the metro,
Yet elevated and away from the street noise.
The room was spacious, clean, with excellent bedding.
Breakfast was excellent, varied, and of high quality
Many thanks to the reception team who helped me charge my phone every day, and especially to the young lady the receptionist who was kind and smiling.
The hotel is located on higher ground, almost like a hill, as it is often the case in Lisbon
For people who may have difficulty with climbing, such as the elderly, or with health issues, or travelers carrying heavy luggage, it’s better to come from the airport by taxi. But if you don’t have such concerns, you can come with the metro, the hotel is at 5 min walk and it’s actually easy to access
