Lovely boutique hotel near Plaza Rossio, excellent staff, wonderful welcome, excellent breakfast
Walk up 140 stairs from Plaza Rossio, no phone directory in the room (ie, what # to call for reception), TV did not have video AirPlay, insufficient lighting in the room

I loved how large the room was and nighttime was very peaceful. The location is central and offers easy access to different landmarks. Loved how clean the hotel was and the different amenities in my room. The hotel offers a complimentary bottle of water per day and I found that useful and kind!
I didn’t have a fridge and I would have appreciated a water boiler.
On the last day, I was struggling with my suitcase so I had to get another one. The personnel was kind enough to extend my check out hours, but I found that they spoke to me in a bit of a dry way which I didn’t really like because I was already stressing and had to find a suitcase last minute. I would have appreciated their kindness in that moment but that’s the only negative comment from me!

The staff was absolutely brilliant, from check in to check out, they were kind and professional. Location couldn't be better and quiet at night. Bed was comfortable, will come back.

Great breakfast, location and staff.
Quite dated hotel, with no additional facilities. Expensive for what you get. Ironing board and iron are in terrible state. The room quality is variable, stayed here twice with the first time having a lovely room and the second time given a considerably more dated room which smelled of sewage pipes on the first night until after having a few showers.
