The hotel overall was very quaint, charming and a fairly close to city centre. The view from my balcony was also amazing! It definitely made for a comfortable and memorable stay.
Unfortunately there was a bit of an oopsie when I received my room key. As I opened the door, I locked eyes with a half-naked man who was in bed with with a woman. This mistake was quickly fixed and I received a new room, but it did make for an uncomfortable moment, as I clearly interrupted either a mid-day nap or a core vacation memory moment for the couple. But mistakes happen :)

I loved that this hotel was in a more residential neighborhood but you could get to the main tourist areas from here relatively quickly by foot. Also, there is a hidden gem of a park with a gorgeous view of the city that is super private. Better than the other crowded Mirador parks in the city. It is called Torel Park.
Also, the room was large and I had a gorgeous view facing north of the city.
The breakfast included was delicious and fresh and made every day from ingredients from the farm associated with the hotel. They leave leftovers every day in the breakfast area for guests to eat so nothing goes to waste.
The staff were extremely helpful in securing taxis and making recommendations if needed.
I stayed at the hotel as a single woman and it was safe.
The elevator is super slow. But it exists!
I couldn’t get the tv to work but it was no big deal. I wasn’t in Lisbon to watch TV.

The hotel was quaint and we felt right at home. The staff made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, even as a general strike made the staff face some transportation challenges to get to work! Breakfast was great and we had a great selection of items. The staff even prepared a breakfast box for us as an early flight would have made us miss breakfast our last day.

Easy walking out but quite a hike back at end of day…suggest taxi back as taxis in Lisbon very reasonable.

Clean. Staff were friendly. They went out of their way to prepare some breakfast for us before an early morning flight!
I would have been uncomfortable walking around in the area after dark if I was not with a group of people.

Breakfast buffet was fine. Great view from our room since the hotel is on top of a hill overlooking the city. It was very convenient to book a taxi to the airport that could be depended on in the very early morning hours.
We were in the top level "penthouse" room. Great view, nice size room, but the low ceilings and steep stairway make it difficult to navigate to the bathroom in the dark. Time to regrout the bathroom - some mold in nooks and crannies.

Welcoming staff at arrival.
Our view was directly on a lot of garbage. Breakfast was very basic, lunch given for Airplane upon departure was thoughtful but really not very good.

The breakfast buffet was amazing and the bed and bathroom were so comfy and clean! The staff were very young and helpful.
The location is a bit rough to climb as it’s up a steep hill. Not ideal for handicapped or people who need assistance unless you take a taxi or car service. Otherwise the hotel itself was ideal!

Well my husband was in the hospital and i could walk there. But i love the staff and the breakfast is great!!! It has an amazing rooftop deck. Theres an elevator. It seems like a great neighborhood
My room was small but thats ok. The shower was very small and i’m tiny but maybe the others are bigger.
