Located halfway between Saldanha and Campo Pequeno, Jupiter Lisboa is a newly built hotel featuring a panoramic rooftop with 2 outdoor swimming pools as well as a SPA, a Portuguese restaurant and a lobby bar with food and drinks. Preserving its original 1906 architecture, Jupiter Lisboa Hotel - Rooftop & Spa’s spacious rooms are decorated with images of Lisbon and are equipped with free WiFi, air conditioning, soundproofing, a flat-screen TV and a work desk. Each private bathroom comes with a walk-in shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. The on-site restaurant serves a hot breakfast buffet every morning and includes a varied menu with international and traditional Portuguese dishes. Good first impression to walk into the lobby, greeted straight away and checked in. Didn’t eat there at all so can’t comment on food outlets. Liked that towels were removed from sunbeds that people were holding and not at the pool.
Lots of rules and regulations that are a bit in your face. Rule with the token for the pool towel was a bit threatening on check in-was the lasting impression. Big no smoking sign in bedroom. Room was fine, functional and clean but basic for 4 star and bare minimum toiletries provided. Sofa bed didn’t look appealing, was glad I wasn’t sleeping on it.

When we arrived, we were met by Ruben in the lobby, who was AMAZING. Our bed was a bit stiff and it took Ruben 10minutes to fix it. The rooftop is excellent, the front desk have so many staff to help you with whatever.

Rooftop pool was a great bonus especially after a long flight or busy day. Morning breakfast buffet was plentiful, hot and extensive. The staff was welcoming and went out of their way to help with transportation, recommendations etc… Our room was amazing! Lots of windows, coffee pot, refrigerator and the bed was super comfy. The location was perfect for us to go downtown Lisbon for excitement and load of restaurants, people watching and pastry’s. Hotel was close to the train station and getting an uber or taxi was easy. Lot’s to see within walking distance.

For me this was a great location as very close to the Metro to get around. A supermarket is in walking distance and we found a couple of really decent places to eat, which were good value. We enjoyed the roof top pool and bar and gym. All areas were kept clean, with great facilities and friendly staff. I will stay here again.
If I had to find something maybe the hot breakfast buffet could have had more variety over the days we stayed but it was still adequate.
