Only 2 lifts and one was out during my stay.

Bar was too small, bar staff very rude and ignorant. We found the experience very disappointing, having travelled extensively this was by far our worst experience. Checking in procedure was terrible even though we had checked in previously online.

When we were on our way to the city center at 11 a.m., we received a call telling us that our rooms were ready, even though we had previously been told that they would be ready at 3 p.m. The hotel operates a two-tier culture. Some guests receive a glass of champagne upon arrival, while others do not. I noticed that other guests were able to check into their rooms as early as 8:30 a.m. Perhaps we were not the right guests, considering we paid €7,000. The check-in procedure is very poor. We had sent a room list for 9 rooms with 14 people. This was ignored in a group hotel like this. Check-in took 45 minutes because a credit card has to be registered for each room, each time the group leader's credit card, which should only be necessary once. This is actually unnecessary and there is no stocked minibar in the room. There is also no hygienic mineral water in the room, only still, unchilled tap water in the corridor. In the evening, the room is no longer checked and turned down; you have to do that yourself. The curtains could not be opened completely. The soap was unusable at first. No wastebasket in the bathroom. The lighting concept is a disaster; everything is dark in the suite because there are only a few light sources. In the breakfast room, Spaniards in particular are greeted with a handshake. We were largely ignored; even after four days in the hotel, no one recognizes us. The most important thing for them is their e-tablets, which they cling to stubbornly and parade around with. The breakfast is inadequate: there is no indication that you can also order egg dishes from the kitchen. The fruit selection is poor, with only a few small blueberries and no strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries. There is no smoked salmon, the jam selection is very poor, and the yogurt selection is very poor. There is no mortadella, pressed ham instead of shoulder ham, and all the cold cuts are of the cheapest quality.

The staff were not all friendly. Not always helpful or ready to be of service.

The next door room complaining about our 6 year old making a noise… the staff let us know but it’s very difficult to silence a child.
