Person at front desk was very nice. The room and bathroom were clean and large enough.
There were 2 beds on the first level with no drapes, or anything around them. 0 for privacy.

The option that includes breakfast it really worths it, all the personal stuff was very friendly and helpful, the location is amazing, you can easy have access to all kind of public transportation.
The cleaning of the room and bathroom was not the best, usually completed in a rush, the sheets did not get changed during all our stay. Occasionally some guest were very loud talking very early morning on the room hallways.

Wonderful
This is a cute hostel with a pool to cool off, not swim. Lots of space to lounge inside and outside. Lots of electrical plugs in the dining area. I got a capsule bed. My room and bed felt very safe and secure. Key card to open the room and to open your capsule. The bed was comfy with nice linens. Im 5'10 and had room passed my head and feet. I could sit all the way up and have about 6- 7 inches from the ceiling of my capsule. no need to crouch down or hurt your neck. I felt secure and sturdy on the top capsule. There was a night light with dimmer, and USB + USC sockets. No need for an adapter. Also the ladder was sturdy and most, if not all of your foot, fits on the steps going up. I have hurt my feet on other places' ladders. There are assigned cubby/lockers in the room. Plus bigger lockers in the hallway. They could add a couple of hooks for people to hand their own towel, jacket, or swimsuit. There are laundry facilities on site, and a bar with some snacks for purchase.
Breakfast is served for many hours, so if you are not an early riser you can still get the free breakfast. The highlight of breakfast is pasteles de nata. I ended up making a sandwich from a croissant, meat, cheese, tomato. They have a coffee machine, which dispenses hot cocoa.
There was a variety of people, older travelers, families, dogs, young , and every where in between. It has a great location, near 3 train lines, and a big park, with the Lisboa sign for those IG ers.
The Bathrooms.... they did not offer me any towels, or to put an desposit for a towel. Often times you would see wet shoe prints leading from the bathrooms. On my floor, there were 3 toliets and 3 showers. 2 of the stalls did not have locks on them, same goes for the showers. They are shared regardless of gender. What I was disappointed with was the showers. There was very little room to change your clothes in the stall, as there are signs to keep yourself clothed outside of the stall. The shower is a push button like the sink, where it runs for 10-20 seconds then shuts off. Then you have to push it again , and again, and again, etc. You get the picture. I decided not to wash my hair as that would take forever to do and rinse and condition and rinse. It was frustrating to take a shower. The sinks- there were no shelves to put your toiletries on while washing up. During peak times, there seemed to always be someone cleaning them.
Breakfast- the choices were limited. They only fill up once for juice, so if everybody else has 3-4 cups of juice before you get there, you are out of luck and get no juice. The fruit always looked beat up and/ or rotten. It doesn't seem like they replenish the breakfast, whatever they set out, once it's gone it's gone. Monday- i got scraps, the weeknd I had a solid breakfast.
Bag storage- Never Have I stayed at a place where they charged me to store my bag before or after checkout. They told me I could make a reservation on Bounce. I have used them before, but not when I was staying at a hostel. However, my roommate was able to use the lockers in the hallway for free. SO not happy about that. I brought my bags to my friends hostel for the day instead.

Good work space - lounge - guests
Kitchen claustrophobic - lack of tools. Breakers flipping. Crowded. Unventilated eating space.
Showers are set temperature and timed push button that required repeated resets.
No private toilet space. Means exposed shower - only one person at a time can use any of the bathroom.
WiFi was useless above 2nd floor. (I was on 6th)
Crowded busy urban area.
New York with cobblestones.
Instant coffee. Ugh.

The location was great. Close to cute restaurants, the river walk, and easy to get to the airport. Staff friendly, place cute and clean. Extra amenities that you do not have at other hostels like pool and in suite bathroom. I enjoyed my visit.
It's was good. One elevator was a little weird.

Clean, nice swimming pool, there are lockers to leave luggage for check in and check out, quiet area, near metro station and supermarkets (Auchan, Aldi and Pingo Doce)
Very small room, no window in the bathroom and the AC doesn't work well. You can't bring drinks to the hostel, but they didn't have cold water to sell, I asked for a caipirinha and it was horrible.

Wonderful
The location is fabulous. It is close to the metro, supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The area felt very safe. The staff are very helpful and polite. Breakfast is excellent value. Having a bathroom in the room was very good.
The lift doesn't always work if residents don't close the door, so not the hostels fault.
