Nice clean, welcoming property.
Nice room, staff were lovely & helpful. Great shower. Breakfast good.
Really enjoyed sitting outside under umbrellas.
Nice to have free tea/coffee.
Room 206 looked out on a huge amount of rubbish dumped, cardboard, plastics & clam shells. Mentioned it to reception.
Following day, a small truck appeared, took a picture & cleared up. But clam shells not cleared or area hosed or scrubbed.
However, rubbish/litter is a general problem everywhere in Lisbon.
But don’t want to see it outside my room window.

Good
Staff were really helpful and knowledgeable, facilities were good and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Breakfast selection was as expected as continental spread and replenished quickly. Room was very clean and refreshed daily.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but a few minor improvements recommended- the breakfast room was fairly small with a muted atmosphere, also the wall needed washing down from drinks splashes (fair side or the room on the right), only 2 of the 4 sliced toaster worked and ideally all the tables to be set with cutlery.
Location was great but it was a little noisy at night but that wasn’t unexpected.

Everything was great
It would have been nice to have the electric espresso coffee maker in the restaurant at breakfast

Great location in the historic Alfama, next to the José Saramago Foundation, and close to special restaurants serving fantastic food and drinks. The extremely friendly and helpful staff, the tasty breakfast, and the whole provided service have met our expectations.
Our room was a bit small but cosy, viewing the inner small yard and exterior staircase, which turned out to be an advantage.

Breakfast was a buffet with cold selection of bread (toast), croissants, pastries, fruit, cheese, cold meat and cereals. Good start to the day! The staff were good at suggesting places to visit, and part of the hotel has a tile workshop selling a variety of tiles and ceramics hand painted on site. You can also join a workshop. Recommend a river view room. It’s a good location, quiet at night, and right at the foot of the Alfama area where you can explore all the wee side streets.

Great location close to many attractions and public transport (including river boats). Hotel is cosy and of good standard. Staff is very friendly. Elevator is a big plus for families.
Standard rooms have windows overlooking an internal, very small "courtyard", which makes the room a bit darker than usual, but it's not a big deal. The bathroom could use a bit more light. Breakfasts are very tasty, but every day it's the same - could be a bit more varied. Also it would be great to have some "warm" option such as scrambled eggs or sausages.

The location of the hotel was great. It is within walking distance to the central places and right across from the bus stops. The breakfast was sufficient. The rooms were very comfortable. I had a small accident during my stay (I got injured by hitting my nose against the glass door of the hotel), even though it was late at night, the attendant quickly brought us all the necessary first aid supplies. I recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Lisbon.
It would be better if there were slippers in the room.

Excellent location,if you stay here you can easily reach all the touristic attractions on foot. The hotel is very clean, the reception staff speaks good English, they are kind and helpful, anything you need they will kindly help. Really nice breakfast.
I liked everything. The breakfast is good, but could be better by adding some eggs for more variety. People who don't like sweet breakfast with a lot of pastry have limited options. They don't have heating machines, so everything is fresh, but served on a plate, so I understand scrambled eggs/fries eggs/omelette is not an option, but maybe some boiled eggs that can be served even if they're cold. Also only superior rooms have tea/coffee kettle. Espresso machine is available at the reception and free for the guests, but kettle is really basic and cheap equipment that can be added to all the rooms, not only premium ones.

The location was perfect. The breakfast was good, especially all of the fresh fruit. The most exceptional was the kind staff. They helped us with booking round trip Flix tickets to Porto, guided tours to Sintra and Cascais, and they recommended the best restaurant we have visited so far in all of Portugal. Thank you!
The room was pretty small.

Location, Varanda , staff nice and helpful, free coffee in the lobby very good idea
First time in my life a hotel does not offer eggs , of any kind
No real entire food, just sliced ,
in general, the breakfast is very, very weak for the type of the hotel, thats nice...
you should really rethink about your breakfast as part of the hotel...

Excellent location. Good room.
Bar area was basic. No indoor seating if weather not good. Owners did not help generate a positive atmosphere around this area.
