Amazing service, the rooms look exactly like the pictures, the metro is 2 minutes away, there are great restaurants around the hotel. But the people working there are the best, we are grateful for everything!

The front desk staff a was very accommodating and helpful! Two days my bus tours started at 8am and breakfast was from 8am-10am and they allowed me to have breakfast earlier than 8am to accommodate my day tours. I also felt safe. Everyone I came back someone was always at the front desk, and they even locked the front doors after a certain hour which made me feel safe coming and going!

This fabulous hotel is right in the centre of the beautiful Alfama district of Lisbon and just a couple of minutes walk from a Metro station, the riverfront and numerous restaurants. The hotel staff are extremely welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable and go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. The rooms are very clean and have everything you would need. The breakfast area is pleasant and a good continental breakfast is served there.
I actually cant think of anything I didnt like about this hotel.

Marcia and staff were excellent.
Breakfast is limited but fine. Maybe small plain yogurt or low sugar offerings would be a healthy addition.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Margarida at the front desk. Breakfast was good but would be better with eggs. The breakfast presentation and area was very nice. The breakfast staff was attentive. The location was fantastic, close to the pedestrian area, Alfama, and transportation. Rooms were clean and a good size. Great restaurants close by.

The location, friendly staff and cleanliness of the hotel are the biggest assets. The location could not be better. Superior rooms are spacious, with a beautiful view of the river. Excellent restaurants and most sights are nearby.
Standard rooms are too small, with very small wardrobe, insufficient for one person, not to mention two.

We loved the location, it was near everything and near some great restaurants, also near the Placa de Comercio, but not on a noisy street. Room and bathroom were a good size. We had balconies that overlooked the riverside plaza. The staff were very friendly.
The bathroom had a strange sewer like smell. Whenever we arrived the room smelled weird, we would open the balcony doors to air it out a bit. The shower was very strange, it did not have a proper shelf to place shampoo and soap, it had an Ikea soap holder that was flimsy and everything kept falling off we just placed the bottles in the floor. We stayed for 5 days and unless you ask for fresh towels and linens they dont change them. Room was not soundproof, we heard everything from the upstairs bedroom and the room next door sometimes as well. Breakfast was very simple, fruits cereal and cold cuts of ham & cheese. I would have liked some hot eggs for example. I know it is an expensive area in Lisbon, however for the price i did not find this to be a wonderful hotel, it was just ok.
