We spent three nights at Hotel Luena and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. They even surprised us with a lovely birthday gesture for my boyfriend — a bottle of wine and a handwritten card (in Italian) waiting in our room — such a thoughtful touch that made our stay extra special.
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with daily housekeeping that kept everything perfectly tidy. The hotel’s location is great, just a short walk from the metro, which made it very easy to reach the city center and explore Lisbon.
Breakfast was rich and varied, with both sweet and savory options, and everything was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is cozy and welcoming — we immediately felt at home.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Luena to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Amazing, friendly staff. Fresh juice, water and pastries in the foyer, and a lovely breakfast.
The room was perfect, and the beds are very comfortable.
Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go again.

A very nice hotel in comfortable location, not far from the metro. Very nice and helpfull stuff, especially in the front desk. Comfortable room, very clean, and good breakfast. All in all, a good place to stay while visiting Lisbon.

Nice hotel out of the main tourist area but still central enough to get to the tourist sites. Hotel was quiet. Great breakfast offerings with hot breakfast cooked to order as well as a big buffet. Comfy beds. Room good apart from view or rather lack of view. Everything clean and well maintained. Nice welcome, drinks and snacks offered on arrival.
Metro for this area was closed by 7pm, not sure why but seems to be a regular thing so planning needed if you are travelling by public transport. Quiet room as requested but with little daylight and view of an internal air conditioning or some other type of venting system which was very disappointing and ruined the experience a bit. We mentioned this to reception and he just shrugged. Slight 'unsafe' vibe to the area but no issues encountered, I think it is just a bit rundown maybe.

The welcome was great very friendly. They reviewed the city map explained the transit and how the day pass worked. Very helpful as the hotel is a little out of the way but the metro is very close and easy to use

We had a one-week vacation in Lisbon and we chose Hotel Luena to stay. The hotel is quite small, but nice and its situation was ideal for us. It took only a couple of minutes to walk to the metro and the city was only a few minutes away by metro. The room and the whole hotel were clean, nice and cozy. We slept so well in the bed, which turned out to be even better than at home. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and included many different types of food and drinks.
The hotel staff surprised us memorably by a bottle of sparkling wine on a table when we returned back to the hotel on my spouse's birthday.
If we travel to Lisbon again we could certainly choose the same hotel again :)

The location was excellent - with public transport just a short walk away, and close to shops and cafes. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth and quick.
The only drawback was the view from the window, which showed walls and pipes, making the room a bit darker.
