Location, location and once again location! It is just excellent - in the middle of everything, the best place we have imagined to be located. Great breakfast offer perhaps meeting everybody's wishes. Parking was convenient and easy at the private parking of the hotel just around the corner 100 meters from the main entrance., however it costed 18 euros/day.
The room could have been more spacious for the family of three, but in general was enough. We would be more happy for a shower instead of bath.

Great location. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. Free teas and coffees were available on the ground floor at all times. The breakfast was fantastic - 10/10!!

The breakfast was an excellent European breakfast with lots of options. We also greatly appreciated the public spaces in the hotel, which were very comfortable. Coffee and fruit-infused water were always available, which was a big plus. The staff was both helpful and charming! They went above and beyond to give us an enjoyable stay.

The breakfast from 6:30am to 12 noon. The buffet was top quality with a cornucopia of selections, including champagne. I will return just for the breakfast. The location was convenient to many restaurants and museums and the Libertade square area. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff was very professional and nice. I also liked the reading and gathering areas, and the garden area and lovely decor throughout the building. I will return.
The location of the toilet paper holder. Too low to the ground for older folks.

We loved the old, authentic, characteristic building so much. You can feel the history. It’s beautiful how the owners keep the history alive in this hotel and combine it with modern aspects. The staff was excellent. Location was perfect. We used the private parking for an additional cost of 18 per day. Very comfortable to have this option.
When you hate showering in the bathtub, you have to take that into account.

Breakfast was fab and great, there is a gym. The staff were brilliant, and the place was extremely clean.
The bathrooms are a bit outdated with old showers, and there could be better toiletries included in addition to the soaps.

We had a junior suite. Some might argue it was a little dated, but I liked the mix of antique and more modern. Good breakfast. I loved the fact that the fact that the hotel occasionally provided a decanter of wine or port for quests to have as an aperatif.
