Room 102 had a strong smell of mold.
Probably due to wood details in direct contact with concrete in combination with high humidity and limited air ventilation

When checking out they said we didn’t pay and owed 3875 euro. I showed proof and they still said no. They were very insistent . Several gals paid another 750 E until I finally begged them to call booking.com. Then the clerk said I was correct and refunded the money. It was embarrassing and nerve racking for me as the group leader.

Location. Staff. Breakfast good. Excellent staff. Good car parking facility.
1. The breakfast food was only warm not hot. We complained & the restaurant manager sorted the problem but the food still was not hot enough when coming from the kitchen. Disappointing!
2. The room did not offer tea & coffee. Only complimentary water on first day usually at least one bottle each day from other 4* hotels.
3. Our room, 512, was small. The room decoration was old fashioned & desperately needs updating. The bathroom was small & old. Not the standard of a 4* hotel.
4. The bathroom extractor fan was blocked with dust. We reported it to reception but it was not cleaned. The receptionist apologised & gave us a complimentary bottle of port which was a nice guest friendly gesture.
5. The cost of 4 nights was approximately 1,000€ which was not good value. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone. I hope the management immediately deal with the only warm food problem that is unacceptable.

Perfect location to visit Lisbon
Our room was looking old, with smell of old in the closet. Except the cosy lobby, nothing to look as 4stars hotel. The terrasse is small overlooking buildings, no options for bar.

The staff were so nice and very helpful. They went our of their way to look after us. Erica in reception was so lovely and kind. The concierge was also wonderful.
