Location to the city center.
For the price of the hotel, breakfast should have been included. One late night, housekeeping accidentally came into my room without knocking .. the rooms should have internal locks preventing those who have a key entry to the room.

Right in the heart of downtown Lisbon
The shower’s jet is so strong that the handheld one doesn’t stay in place.
The-waterfall shower throws water everywhere.
When I went to the adjacent toilet I slid and bumped my right knee against the glass. I got a bad bruise and now it’s swollen and painful.
The reception just called my friend and me out as we were entering the lobby on an unpaid restaurant bill for dinner and we had bren out from the morning to Fatima and then to Bélem and never used their restaurant!!!! This is a disgrace!!!

I first stayed here in 2017 when it was newly opened. It was fantastic.
Now 2025. It is still a beautiful hotel which shows no age! Excellent staff. Great food at the restaurant. You cannot beat the location.

Hotel da Baixa is a fantastic place to stay in Lisbon. The location is amazing/ right in the heart of the city, super central yet surprisingly quiet. The staff were wonderful: warm, welcoming, and always helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall the value for money was excellent. Highly recommended.

Comfortable and extremely well run hotel in the beautiful Baixa area with pedestrian streets jammed with nice shops and restaurants. The hotel is immaculately clean with a very nice restaurant (the Tiramisu prepared tableside is an unforgettable treat) and rooms have every amenity imaginable: bathrobes, hair dryer, gleaming marble bathrooms, waterfall showers, etc.

I have traveled the world for work and stayed in great hotels.
Since I booked this very last minute ( just an hour before arriving at 11.00 pm ) I got a really good deal.
but even at full price it would have been a great choice!
Staff was wonderful, a location you cant beat and the room was lovely.
Extra bonus : check out is 12.00 , free drinks in mini bar and you are right in the heart of the city , within walking distance to most things.

Great location and within walking distance to most restaurants and things to do in Lisbon. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff was wonderful here and helped to ensure we would get one of the first available rooms pretty early since we had to book this hotel last minute due to a canceled flight. They also helped us with uber in the morning when we couldn’t find our driver. The staff was just overall amazing!! I would stay here again if I come back to Lisbon.
