The location is tops as far as walkability in old town, to train station, restaurants. The breakfast was above standard with as many options as you cld desire plus an egg & waffle station. A complimentary city walking tour is arranged by Guest Services mgr Pedro Falcon who along w his staff run a friendly, quiet, & comfortable hotel. We were fortunate to get the last room at the last minute! It was advertised as small and indeed it was but it was immaculately clean & well organized. We wld definitely stay here again.

Nicely decorated, clean hotel in fantastically central location. Should’ve been a great stay, but……
Bed was so uncomfortable and uneven. My back is still sore.
But the shower was worse. Very confusing. Lots of knobs and levers. There was a sign trying to explain how to use it, but didn’t help or make sense. After trying a few things, cold water suddenly exploded all over me. The shower head was so calcified that water sprayed everywhere in all directions including out of the shower completely saturating the bathroom. I had to change clothes, pack wet clothes in my bag. Not good.

The hotel overall felt cozy and clean. The older gentleman who is supposed to be greeting people for breakfast was extremely rude and not helpful. I signed up for the free city walk tour and nobody showed up for it. The construction noise is horrendous!!!

Very good breakfast which served Portuguese staples, fruits, veggies, pastry and omlettes which were made for you. Also, staff that attended to your needs as you ate.
The only thing I could think of is that my room was across from the storage room were the maids kept their supplies. So I would hear them go in and out.

From the front door to the wait staff to the cleaners, the staff were polite, helpful and efficient. The quality of food in their dining room was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
