The staff and not a bad location. A 5 minute walk to the station and near a stadium which gave a lovely view. Some nice restaurants nearby as well to suit every pocket.
The room was comfy but it didn't have tea or coffee facilities, which is a downer for me as I am an avid tea and coffee drinker. So I had to wake up daily and trek my way to the nearest cafe, which made amazing Cuppocino. And a local Mexican place which made me tea for one euro. The hotel does do breakfast but I didn't opt for that, although the price wasn't to bad, only 11 euros.

We love the gentleman at the front desk. We got in early (10am) and he was able to accommodate to get us in. After a long overnight of travel I cant even express how much we appreciate that. These are our 4th hotels on this journey and the best (by far) beds so far. Price was reasonable. We chose this location as it was outside of downtown (to keep the price down) but 2 minutes walk from stop number 2 on the hop on hop off tour bus so we had "free" transport to the tourist areas to start out day. For running around there was also a scooter and bike drop location just across the street. Hotels with European breakfasts are far superior to North American comparable models. I wish I took a picture...fantastic. Would absolutely stay again. Uber in Portugal is 25% of what I pay in Canada.

The breakfast was good, with a nice variety, and the staff were friendly and polite throughout our stay.
Before arrival, I had an issue with the payment, as the reservation had been charged to the wrong card. When I contacted the hotel, they didn’t seem willing to help and simply referred me back to Booking.com. Even a little help or coordination with Booking.com would have made a big difference.
