The property was very clean, with an efficient self check-in system and good security. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe throughout my stay. The only issue I experienced was a strong, muggy smell in the room, likely due to the building’s age. After a couple of days of airing it out by keeping the balcony window open, it became much more tolerable. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Hall Chiado and would consider returning
I liked the modern rooms with a vintage decor. Showers were great and their heating system for a winter trip was perfect. I really valued the staff's availability and the cleanliness of the place and room.

Nice layout and cute decorating. Loved the bunk beds in the family room.
When we arrived with three tired children the code they gave us worked for the front door but not our room door. After repeated calls and emails they finally called us back and fixed it but it was about 45 minutes of hanging out in the lobby with cranky kids before we could get into our room.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Hall Chiado, the room was spotless and very comfortable. I had forgotten my cap after checkout, and the staff were so kind and helpful, keeping it for me until I could pick it up. Truly great service and hospitality!! Highly recommended?

I stayed in three different rooms for three different days. Each one was special to fit the needs of an individual, family or couple perfectly.
The location was absolutely spot on amazing for waking up and walking in either direction to explore from.
What truly stood out was Beatrice, the front desk clerk. I don’t know what I would have done without her. Recommendations, she was on it. Midnight panic extension, she responded immediately. Moral and emotional support through crisis, she made me laugh and feel safe and positive moving forward as a solo traveler. Help booking a train to Lagos, she walked me through each step. I don’t know what my stay would have been like without her but I do know that with her, I made it in and out of Lisbon in one piece as I ventured forward to Lagos.
The price is higher than a hostel…clearly. This comes with the territory of booking gorgeous, technologically advanced, clean and central local rooms. If you are already in this mindset then the prices beat almost all of the other hotels around and the experience is 1000x more mainstream and personal.

Wonderful Stay!
I absolutely loved the room, it was spacious, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. The location was also perfect, close to everything we needed and within walking distance of great restaurants and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Great location, near bars and restaurants, clean and new upgrades
On Main Street and can be noisy. We stayed on the last day of the football season and the local team won the title so could hear all the celebrations on the street. But the second night was fine.
