The staff were very attentive and the location is accessible to restaurants and shops. Beautiful view from the rootop terrace
My room was located on the same level as the rooftop terrace where there was a very loud private party one evening. It would have been better if I was given notice ahead of time or given the option of a different room.

Beautiful room, stunning details with lights and panelling, etc. loved it. We were greeted with a welcome drink and snacks when we arrived and our bags were taken to the room. We then had a knock on the door of a complimentary bottle from the hotel!! The room was beautiful, so comfortable and spotless. I was disappointed we were only staying for one night!

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms couldn’t have been any nicer. The design and decor are a perfect reflection of what you think Portugal is all about. The rooftop bar was a great place to relax. The staff were very friendly and ready to help with any questions or needs. They have a wonderful breakfast. I would love to return for a third time.
There was nothing I didn’t like about the hotel.

Breakfast had many options. Service was slow but with a smile.
The mattress needed replacement … one side (left) was fine but tended to roll off right side as it dropped down to floor on the edge.

Hotel and its location are excellent! Breakfast in the restaurant are very good and include buffet as well as made to order dishes such as avocado toast, eggs and omelets. Dinner menu is very good quality also.
The tenth floor bar has a nice view of the city and water. Its lots of fun and a great place to meet fellow travelers along with Portuguese locals.
The hotel is in excellent condition compared to many European hotels. It may have had a recent makeover. Our bed was a true American-sized king.
The glass of cava served at check in was a nice touch and the desk and wait staff are very good and fun to work with.
The view from our Deluxe Room (Room 201) was of a small courtyard making the room seem dark however the room was nicely done and quite spacious.
The room service menu is very limited. The club sandwich we ordered was of adequate quality.
There's no fitness center on site or through agreement with a local gym. We missed this feature.
The staff member who delivered our room service smelled of cannabis smoke.
