The scale is perfect. Not too large or too small.

Strategic location. On a central boulevard-style street.
Excellent staff and a welcome coupon for a glass of wine.
Excellent breakfast. In the evening, a wonderful restaurant for dinner with live piano music.
The room is large, has an interesting design, is clean, has a comfortable bed and pillows, high-quality linens, a coffee maker, and a cozy chair with a footstool. Excellent insulation from the street and the road.
The hotel was warm, which is very important since many houses in Portugal do not have heating.

The location was superb. There is a metro station across the road, and many of the areas we wished to visit were a short walk away. We hope to return to Lisbon later in the year and we would certainly stay in this hotel again.
